I just wanted to truly and properly thank you all on here. This board and all of its fellow shippers and their wonderful stories is my haven. Just thanks for being part of somewhere nice for me to go, where I'm not judged for being who I am, where I don't always have to fight for my place and the basic respect everyone should show fellow human beings. I'm just currently really fucking sick of it all just being judged all the time, and the troubles of life and friends and people and A-levels and family. Just thanks for being here guys, as my hideaway from the real world when I need it.
We're all realy lucky that we're all like this and that ADMM shippers are so nice.
So yeah, thank you.

It is very encouraging to know that people read and enjoy my work (most of the time, lol). The constructive criticism, too is great. People are so nice here that you know that whatever criticism your work gets, it won't be delivered in a mean way as on some sites. |

I've been gone for a while... actually I've been sketchy for a year or so...  but now I'm back (I'm Back! LOL) it's great! It's like I never left. The atmosphere on this board is just... friendly and open, the advantage of coming together in a common interest means we don't fight; we discuss. It's refreshing! And it gives me a warm glowy feeling, like coming home! Already I've found myself writing little drabbles here; and I've had writers block for yonks! Thanks for inspiring me peeps! |

yay! inspiration, that's great. Please post those for us! I have those times when I can't seem to write anything and I feel like I don't even care to read any other fanfiction. Then when I get over that and come back here, like you said Cranky, it's as if I'd never left! I have to admit that after HBP, I went into deep mourning, and couldn't bear to read any fanfic, expecially not AD/MM! But, yeah, I'm getting over that now, and I think I might be able to start writing properly again.  You get plenty of encouragement on this board too, which is soo helpful for a nervous writer! |

It's too much fun to get reviews, I feel like I have to share that feeling with every author! yes! reviews are fuel for fanfic writers. If I read a fic all the way through, I always leave a review. Just to let people know that I did read it and that there work meant something to me. |

LOL ;D Like you said, Osusprinks, getting reviews (admittedly a little ego-stroking!) really heightens the enjoyment of writing, just the idea that someone else shares your perceptions and appreciates your take on AD/MM... well, it's pretty cool! (To lapse into the colloquial! hee!) Which means that leaving reviews offers you the chance to enlarge upon that basis of familiarity and understanding...  Ah, you know what I mean- it's good to know you're putting a smile on someone else's face! ;D (Have just discovered I waffle even in typed internet posts... should i seek therapy? Why am I still typing..? oh no! I'm developing a latent addiction to twelve point black, Ariel font... |

Hello!! I agree with all you've said too... I just wanted to add something (become a little sentimental) As you all know, I'm not a native English speaker (if you didn't know... after this *awfully written* rambling, you will!!). Therefore, I haven't posted a single story (*sadly* all my stories are in Spanish)... however, even if I have never posted a story, there are a lot of people here really nice to me. I've been in a lot of boards before this one... and in most of the if you are not "interesting enough" your opinion is ignored. This place is really different. There are a lot of nice people around that are always willing to help or to give you a nice word. I'm glad to to have this place and, even if I don't write stories... I'll keep reading and giving my reviews to all the fics I read. I really love this board... and I also love you guys!! Isabel |

I love it here too... I joined merely because I wanted to read more ADMM stories and I felt it would be more courteous to be able to leave a review. I didn't expect to be part of such a great group, where we talk about practically everything. This is the one board I've seen without any messing about or pointless topics or flames. It's one of the few places that people don't judge each other for what they like, or what they believe in, or where they come from, or who they think is sexy, or what subjects they're studying etc etc, and one of the few places where people don't get into aimless arguments with the subject matter of 'my favourite footballer(soccer player) is sexier/better/whatever-er than yours' or 'chav music is SO better than goth music' or ... you get the idea. Everyone here is really constructive and supportive, so kudos to everyone for making it such a nice place to be, and to April and Lies for giving us a place to make nice. Here's to two years of a real community board |

I realyl truly and properly agree. Ismaco - There was nothing wrong with your English in that, if you had never said I wouldn't have known. I love it here Especially because we all love ADMM and I don't know anyone else that does and I haven't been able to convert any of my friends to it either. |
