I'm considered a Geek! Here's the story: Popular Maddy asks me what I got on my report card in science I say 99, The next day Maddy tells everyone in school that I'm a geek and the everyone starts being mean to me including my nice sweet friend Julia! Then Julia tells Maddy that I play D&D and now I'm Geeky Girl #1! Now what to do? My BFF on Maddy's side and everyone thinks I'm a Geek because I get high grades,play D&D,am good in science,reads a lot,is in band,and wants to be an astronomer and not a teacher!

You're not a geek... You've just found your nitch.... I do a lot of things that could label me a geek and yet I know I'm not. I took a semester of band in high school.... I was an English geek... Ask me anything about Shakespeare plays and I'm all on it... I even danced "The Gathering Pescods" all four years for my AP English classes in high school on Shakespeare Day IN COSTUME! WEARING A CORSET!... That was my nitch, like you and science. I'm still a geek... I embroider, knit, crochet, can quote like a million movies.... Some would consider me a geek... Some have called me one because I ship MMADness.. But I don't care... And you shouldn't either... So what if you get good grades and play D&D and read a lot? I am an english freak, play Balderdash, and am in the middle of like ten books.... Enjoy being you, ari.

Is a geek really the worse thing they can call you?
I was called a geek the other day for doing well on a quiz and we're in college. As mmadlyinlove put it, you've just found you're niche.

I'm suposed to be a geek, although nobody called me that, yet. I am a huge MMAD shipper, I like English, I read a lot, my fav actress is maggie smith, I don't make fun of people and I'm not rude to my teachers and my fav film is Elisabeth I. Oh, and I'm the only girl wearing glesses in my class. But I don't care. I'm not a geek, I'm a total disaster in math, after all.

Sweetheart, let me tell you i have the best grades in ALL subjects and I am the class valedictorian and usually geek comes along with that title so i know what it feels like when people think youre a geek or nerd. What i did was shut them up by saying, "I am so flattered you think of me so often as even to classify meas someone, I am honoured you think im so important to be talked about so much. Thank you." End of story. If they care so much thats their problem, your work just shows your ambitious and youre gonna be a great success in life.
