i always love to hear what people got for christmas. (im weird like that) so what gift did you guys get hat you liked the best. mine is the maggie smith pic, signed by maggie smith, my mom got me!

That's awesome!
Receiving gifts are fun, but I really love giving them. And making them wait for it too, and whenever possible, surprising them. Fun!!
As for my gifts, so far I've recieved a tic tac toe drinking game. hehe. The rest are coming tonight.

My favorite gift that I got was Scarlett, the sequel to Gone With the Wind. My best friend got it for me because she knows how obsessed I am with GWW.

My mom bought me a 1940s typewriter...it needs some work, but it is very cool. I also got a 1920s Bakelite clutch which is way cool.
But really it was much more exciting to give my sister her gifts...she was very pleased with all I got her and that was the best part of my day.

I loved jaye's secret santa story to me over at the Charming Roots boards, it just made me happy. And my favourite material gift is a copy of The Sound of Music on DVD which Ben got for me to cheer me up since I was supposed to see it in the West End last weekend but I was stuck at Manchester airport all day instead  It just really touched me. |

My favourite gift would have to be the diamond necklace my boyfriend gave me. I also got this amazing Maggie smith poster that my friend made!

I LOVE The Sound of Music! (I guess I just feel I have to say that everytime I get the chance.. haha)
I guess my favorite gift would have to be the three books I got- Wuthering Heights, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe- but I really liked my Who's the Boss season one DVD as well!

I received several great gifts from family and friends for Christmas. But two things, which are the simplest to describe, are these two shirts. One is a white one that says "I <3 Mr. Darcy" and the other is a dark blue one with a white strip across the chest and it says "Never judge a book by its movie" in blue writing, which is awesome cuz the first thing I thought of is the Harry Potter movies.
