This post is in some ways completely silly, but whatever. This is a better place than any other to talk rather honestly about this kind of thing, given the very nature of our 'ship, eh?
So I know I'm not the only one who's had a crush on a teacher. And I know it's not as weird as you thought: We're all rather intelligent. We need someone on our level. Who better than a teacher, or a mentor?
So spill! Tell me all about it. I love hearing other people's stories that are so similar to my own...

I'm kind of in love with my history teacher. He's hilarious and brilliant and I avoid him at all costs. I guess he reminds me of Albus . . . .

I used to have a crush on a substitute teacher. He was hot. It's quite normal. I know some of my classmates thought my AP teacher was hot while I thought he was a jerk and not hot.

Oops, I abandoned this place for a while there. Personally, I've got the hots for my chemistry teacher, who is the most fantastic man that's ever walked this earth. Yes. So I'm taking AP Chem with him next year also.
Wife and kids? What wife and kids? ;D

AP Chem? *shivers* No man is worth AP Chem.
I've never had any hot teachers, but I seem to be attracted to older men in general.
Particularly Toby Stephens, Maggie Smith's son. He's only like twenty years older than me, and married with a kid too boot. *sad sigh*

I've definitely experienced this, and let me just say that it is awful. When you try to talk to friends about it, nobody understands. I really feel for Min in those unrequited student teacher fics.

He helps coach my forensics league (debate team) Ah you do debate?! *gets all excited* I used to do competitive speech (our comp. speech and debate teams are one because not enough people at my school are interested). Anyway I did a lot of acting events at tournaments and was pretty good in Declamation, too. I quit, though, because it took up too much time and I have to work now so I wouldn't have weekends free anyway.

Boy...this is the place for me. I've had crushes on three teachers...? Yeah, three. Two history and and a chem. The first one was my seventh and eight grade history teacher. In high school, I TA'd for him for two years...I was around him a lot. He even came to my grad party this last year. We're good friends now...crush seems to have passed. Anyways...with the next one was my high school history and AP history teacher; he was at least twenty years older than me, married with two kids and I kinda woke up one morning, sat down in class and was like..."Holy crap...he's hot." And...this is embarrasing...I went as far as naming our kids. Yeah, it was bad. I seem to have gotten over it. Finally. Three effing years later! But, everybody thought my chem teacher was hot. Most days, the class was boring as heck, but I sat front and center just so I could look at him. Wow...I just kinda rambled on. Haha...I'll go now. ;D

I've had crushes on older men quite a bit I've never liked guys my age that much but seriously Gary Oldman (or as all my friends call him Gary the old man) is so damn sexy! (as is Alan Rickman). As far as teachers go there is a sub at my school all the time who is hot and for some reason (just because I pay attention) everyone in my science class my bf included thinks I have a crush on my science teacher. The man is fun to talk to (we get off on the oddest topics in that class) and everything but he's like 52 and looks about 20 years older. Needless to say I do not have a crush on him.

I was once in love with my Science teacher.
But it was a totally superficial attraction born of my love for his sexy butt, I can assure you.

You did Dec and Interpretation? That takes skill; it's a shame you can't do it any more. In high school, I was just about the only female competing in Extemporaneous Speaking, which is very factual and analytical in nature. I wish I was expressive enough to present someone else's work, but alas my emotional side remains with my fandoms. It's cool to find someone else who shares a common hobby.

I have a crush on an english teacher at my high school. He's extremely nerdy, and he wears nerdy clothes (high-waisted jeans, suits with converse), but he is DEAD SEXY for some odd reason. He's SO charismatic...it's quite an odd crush. I have it bad for nerds.

You are not alone, darling. I bought the soundtrack the day after it came into theaters. Yep. Know all the songs.
It's funny being in theatre. I sing one line, and a few people from across the room will join in. And we'll just have a big musical fiasco. =]

Dont be embarressed, silvertabby. I once had a crush on my female science teacher even though I am straight. Lol, it's funny, same here. I mean, it's not exactly a crush, but that lady is so damn inspirational and so goddamn charismatic, you can't help it. Her smile is ridiculously bewitching. Very platonic, I assure you. We have very few male teachers and those that are here look drab, trust me. Oh, and Toby Stephens looks really good!

I had a crush on my year 8 phys ed. teacher. He was hilarious and a lot of fun. I grew out of that soon though - and he became someone who you could have a good laugh with. Graduation day was terrible when I had to say goodbye. I broke down completely.

I had a bit of a crush on my math teacher from my senior year of high school - he looked EXACTLY like Bryan Brown when he played Luke O'Neill in "The Thorn Birds". (Here's a picture of Bryan Brown in "The Thorn Birds"). I got to know him and his family really well - in fact, I'm on a first name basis with him and his wife. John is a really nice guy (from New Zealand - such an AH-MAZINGLY adorable accent!) and he and his wife (and three darling daughters) are so sweet. John's even shears sheep, like Luke O'Neill! That's really why I had a crush on him, really - he was EXACTLY like Luke O'Neill.
