Okay, so I'm super close with one of my old teachers and lately I've noticed that she's acting a little differently lately. It seems like she sort of has this "glow" on her.
A few days ago I ran into her in the hall ways and she asked me how i was and i said i was good and then i asked her how she was. Instead of giving me an answer right away she seemed to hesitate, like she was wondering if she should tell me something. to tell me something but she didn't.
Plus, I know that in the mornings she gets a little dizzy so her classroom door is always open.
Can someone please give me advice on what to do? I'd be so excited and happy for her if she was pregnant. I know I should just wait and see if she tells me herself but I was just wondering if anyone else had other suggestions.

Unless you are particularly close to your teacher, you should probably wait. Also, think about whether or not she is the kind of person who would want a student asking that kind of question - let's face it, it is a personal question after all.

There's not really a polite way to ask that question. At work a collegue of mine asked another if she was pregnant and it turned out that she wasn't. Let's just say things were very terse after that. I'd say leave it; she'll tell you if she wants to and not before.

There isn't an exactly polite way to ask. I think your teacher would tell you when she wants to.

Haha, we had this with one of my teachers. Just go right out there and ask. What was your teacher's reaction? I know I should probably just wait but I dunno, I guess I'm just really nosy. Her stomachs gotten bigger though. Not by much, its just got a little bump now. And she's one of those naturally skinny women who are like in tip top shape.

yeah it is no prob. um she didn't really say anything cause she never knew that i knew. i told my friends and they said i was crazy though. then they had to take it back when she told us about it. and yeah if your teacher is getting bigger and is naturally skinny then most likely she is preg.

Tough call... but I would probably wait.
If she doesn't tell you, it will become obvious soon enough. Some people are REALLY superstitious about when they tell people (usually after the first trimester). In fact, I know people who waited until just before the baby was born to tell people because of problems they had had in the past.
I know it sucks to wait and wonder, but just be patient and you will know soon!

That happened with a teacher of mine at school (so long ago, *sniff). She was one of those super-fit people and then we began to notice a bump and her moods were fairly erratic so alot of us thought she was pregnant.
It turned out she had stomach cancer; so I'd say leave it a while.

I am usually fairly good at guessing, so I've wondered about a fair few of my teachers over the years but the thing is, if they're not then they'll be seriously offended and if they are then it's up to them when they're ready to tell people.

Aww, thats so sad. Had someone already asked her or did she just tell the class that she had stomach cancer?
