The only thing I was looking forward to after reading Dumbeldore's death was seeing Minerva as Headmistress. She took over the office so well with other people, and I know she would do incrediblely well. I don't know what was up with Harry saying he's not going back to school, but I find it hard to believe that we will not see Hogwarts at all, because it's been such a large part of Harry's life.
Though he may not go back for full time, I imagine we'll at least spend some time there, with him or another character. It was unclear whether or not Ron and Hermione were also quitting, but I know Harry needs them. And as much as I want to see the new Headmistress in action, it is a sign that Harry needs to get things quicker than other children, and he will hardly have time to find four (five really) Horcruxes while sitting in Charms.
