I decided to put all of mine in one thread so I don't get confused. You'll all find out very soon that it's a short trip for me. Unfortunately, I don't own them. If I did, there would be, well, sorts of things like this in the books. #031- Sunrise Snow fall silently on the Hogwarts grounds on an early December morning. As Minerva wakes, there is no sound to be heard- no students, no owls, no house elves, nothing--just the welcome sound of silence. She pulls the covers off and wakes to the window that overlooks the lake. The sky, a cinereal sort of purple this morning, causes the lake to turn a metallic shade of purple, too. A bright streak of orange cuts across the sky, serving as the promise of a beautiful day. Minerva reaches for the robe she folded over a chair the previous evening. She looks out the window again, her thoughts focused on the upcoming Christmas holiday as snow continues to fall on the grounds. As she wraps the robe tighter around herself in an attempt to stay warm, she feels a pair of arms slip around her waist. "Good morning, sleepyhead," Minerva says as she hears his yawn. "Good morning, my dear," Albus replies, chuckling. He presses his face into her hair and kisses it. An immediate sense of warmth washes over Minerva as Albus does this, and suddenly it's not cold anymore. Suddenly, nothing else matters but this early morning, the snowfall, and the two of them together. Together as they have always been, as they are, and as they will always be.

#070- Storm
Albus took a seat in his favorite squishy, purple chair by the window. He stared absently outside the window, watching the students peruse the grounds, watching Hagrid with his Care of Magical Creatures class off in the distance, watching owls leave the Owlery at the top of the nearest tower.
He sat there for nearly an hour, and by the end of that hour, the sky had turned dark and threatening. A storm was looming. Wind swirled around and howled as it crashed against the impenetrable castle walls.
It was not long after that the sky turned positively black and the first crash of thunder was heard. Albus watched the storm; he had always been intrigued by the relationship between thunder and lightning.
Another crash of thunder, this one louder than the first, seemed to shake the walls. Rain thrashed against the windows and pounded on the towers. As the third large crash of thunder sounded, he felt something jump into his lap. When he looked down, he saw the familiar gray tabby cat curled up in his lap, its small nose pressed into his chest.
"It's okay, Tabby," he whispered softly as he soothingly stroked her fur. "Nothing's going to hurt you. I wouldn't let it," he thought to himself.
"I'll protect you from the storm, my dear," Albus said, and smiled as he felt the cat relax in his arms.
