I've just found this on wikipedia. "At one month before the official release of the latest version of Harry Potter, I came across on the internet of an extremely intereting ebook which claims to be the "leaked" one. The book story puts Minerva McGonagall in the highlights and to the contrary of the previous books, this one has a lot of influencial woman in power (instead of being a fight between boys). I can only imagine that Dame Maggie Smith in the role described in this harry potter is an abolute delight. I don't know how long the link with last but I did find a copy here wzwpotter.bravehost.com/. Fascinating." Looks like the link still works. I haven't read it so if it's total rubbish, don't cruciate me, please.

Read through most of it. Completely senseless in certain regards but Minerva takes the spotlight frequently. And yes, Dame Maggie Smith would be amazing in this version. There are several intersting ideas presented, mainly towards the end of the piece. Recommend reading but you will not miss much if you skip over a few chapters.

I didn't even finish the first chapter. It looks like a fanfic to me. Its defiantly not JK's style.

I might have to actually read this one. It sounds interesting. I got it when it was released. But could tell right away it was a fake.

In China there are a load of bootlegs still floating around, it's hilarious. They've got these cooky titles and the plots are impossible to understand because Chinese translates like Crap in to English.
I'll find a few of the titles in a minute and post them here. It's *awesome*!

Here they are, the three fake titles I could find online:
"Harry Potter and Leopard-Walk-up-to-Dragon"
"Harry Potter and Beaker and Burn"
"Harry Potter and the Filler of Big "
SPOILER:
(The filler of big is Dumbledore, which results in best-luck-happy-joy party. FYI)
Sources: New York Times and boingboing.com. And I think Stephen Colbert did a bit on it. It *is* rather comical, after all...)

I feel like 'Harry Potter and the filler of big' trumps Larry Potter.
Larry Potter is almost logical.
Filler of Big? What the hell?
But I'm biased and also on pain killers, so everything is more funny to me! Weeeeeee!

I read a bit of it but it sounded like bad fanfic. I may continue reading it later when I am in the mood.

This is actually a fanfic, I read it on ff.net a while ago. Well, I started, but it was a bit long and not divided into chapters so I gave up…
