Instead of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opening July 13th, it's now opening July 11th!

LOS ANGELES — Good news for Harry Potter fans marking off the days before the release of the boy wizard's next movie.
"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," the fifth movie based on the best-selling books, will open in U.S. theaters July 11, two days earlier than previously scheduled.
Warner Bros., which is distributing the film, gave no explanation for the change.
The world premiere of the movie, directed by David Yates, will be held June 28 in Tokyo, followed by a London premiere July 3.
The film franchise is based on the best-selling novels by J.K. Rowling.
The seventh and final book in the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," is still scheduled for release July 21.

Why are we not getting it first? Why do I have to wait an extra day to find out if the line is in it. Why is it coming out when I'm on holiday! Noooo. Damnit. I won't be able to see it until... the 13th at the very earliest. I'll have to avoid the internet so I don't see spoilers. Because I'm trying to be open minded over this one, and if I find out they cut 'He will not be single-handed' I'll hate it beforehand. *headdesk* *Stamps foot in a tantrum like manner* Why is it coming out in the US, Belgium, France and Taiwan before the UK? It's not fair, it's a British creation. *Sulks*

Why does it say something about a July 3 opening in London? Is that for everyone, or what?

It's the London premiere. And I'm a hell of a way from London.

Ah, okay. That's what I thought. Not fair that London gets it before all the rest of you!

Why are we not getting it first? if I find out they cut 'He will not be single-handed' I'll hate it beforehand. OMG! I know! I'm going to be so pissed if that lines not in the movie. If it isn't I'm probably going to just start screaming in the theatre. That's why none of my family want to see the movie with me. They're afraid I'll embarass them. Isn't my family supportive? I saw the trailer a while back and saw a glimpse of the scene where Dumbledore leaves. I didn't see McGonagall there and omg. I was just screaming my head off! My brother spent like 15 minutes trying to calm me down. Does anyone know if she is in the scene though? Cause if she's not...........

I swear I'll just lose it if it's not. When I went to see GoF I had to bite my hand because I was under death threats from friends not to start stating very loudly about things wrong with it. That scene is the one and only reason I am genuinely looking forward to seeing it. I'd let you shout at the screen, I'm going to

They better NOT cut that scene! I'm afraid they might, though. It's pretty unlikely they put the line in the movie.. Darn, Maggie should've told 'em she wanted it in there! haha

She might've. That's one of the best AD/MM moments. It really shows that she loves him.

Yeah! *giggle* It shows how much she's there for him, how much she really cares for him. It's quite a husband/wife moment, IMO.

It's going to be dubbed here so heaven knows how long I'll have to wait My boyfriend absolutely resists to see any movie that is dubbed and rather waits for DVD. But I don't think I can do that, at least not in this case.

Darnit! I have class until 8:50 that night and the movies here start at 7:00 or so. She usually lets us out early, but not that early. I don't think she'll accept going to a movie as an excuse to miss class either. My town's theater often has a late show at 9 or so but OotP is 2-3 hours and I have to get up at 5 for work. Guess I'll have to wait until Friday, when it is likely to be sold out.
