I wouldn't mind if he was just mean to oh Umbitch or Snape but Min. IT's just horriable we all know one Headmaster who's sleeping on the sofa

LOL... Yeah, when I saw GoF, I was watching the scene with the other professors in the tower after Harry's name was called and he agreed with Severus and I distinctly remember leaning over to one of my best friends and whispering "How many nights on the couch do you think THAT earned him?" and she laughed and said "At least a week..."... Haaha... It's nice to know that even my Slytherin friends support that coupling... Hahaha. She was the one who pointed it out to me. lol.

When I read the scene of Minerva getting attacked I didn't believe it at first glance...I had to read it over several more times for it to sink in.
I still wish she could have beaten Umbridge then, but I suppose if that had happened there wouldn't be half the sense of drama.

LOL! I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I loved when Min walked away and threw her hands up in the air. ;D

Yeah, I don't think she would've done that if Albus was just her boss.

Yeah, I don't think she would've done that if Albus was just her boss. Definitely. I've always thought that looks like a husband/wife scene for Albus and Minerva. And mcgonagallrocks, I do hope you write that fic!

Yeah, back last year when I worked at Target I was trying to infect my colleague with AD/MM and we were talking about that part and how she wouldn't have done that to her boss. Long story short, to prove a point I did that to my boss and he fired me. Apparently I was being disrespectful and trying to outsmart him. Doesn't my experience prove that that was a shipper moment?

the scene with the other professors in the tower after Harry's name was called and he agreed with Severus And he's so aweful about it. "I agree..............with Severus" and there's this look Maggie gives, utter betrayal, her jaw kinda drops. I love it. It's the best shipper moment she's ever created. I also love it a lot that she's a shipper.

I agree 100%, McGonagallsGirl. I remember when I watched the GoF movie for the first time, and I was like, "Hey, THAT'S not in the book!" and then I watched how Maggie did the scene and was like, "Hmm, but I like it!" lol Maggie does the part soo wonderfully (and so did Richard Harris! *pouts*).

That makes NO sense to me... There's a pic of Minerva reading The Daily Prophet after they finally admit to Voldemort's return or whatever.. Isn't she in a wheelchair, supposedly after the Stunner attack?? What? I havent heard that. Besides, she needs the walking stick so Peeves can chase Umbridge with it. How could they leave out the stunner scene?

No Peeves in the movies, so no "it unscrews the other way" scene. *sobs*

We can only hope she uses the walking stick AND the wheelchair. In a freaky sorta way the wheelchair could lead to a semiromantic moment *day dreams about Albus pushing her around... the RICHARD version of Albus* *sigh* That would be so cute.

I'd love that. It's quite possible. Who else is going to push her? I can hardly imagine Alan pushing her or her pushing herself. If Richard was still here he'd definately push her! *cries some more about Richard*

Yeah, I figure she'll use both. She actually probably will push herself, but Alan better not push her! I can't even see Gambon pushing her.. *grumbles about him being a stupid idiot. lol* Richard would have. Geez, we need a support group for this...
Step 1: Acceptance

OMG, I'll be even more pissed if Alan pushes her. That'll just be another thing MM/SS shippers can rub into our faces. Honestly, if Gambon pushes her he might end up just pushing her into a wall because he's so mean to her.
I agree. We do need a support group. I doubt that I'd be able to get through step one though.

Truly I think they are giving lacking credit to Mcgonnagall's pride by having her use a wheelchair...it's almost to the point of disturbing.

They are. They're making her look really weak when really she's , if not the most powerful witch, one of the most powerful witches of the generation.

Guh...curses! They've practically shredded Minerva already, not to mention all the other sub plots they've completely destroyed, not to mention Dumbledore yelling and shoving Harry.
Is it wrong of me to want to kill whoever is behind this with a cheesegrater?
Also, does anyone have the picture of Minerva in a wheelchair or know where I can find it?

Hi!
I still hope that this fim won't be as gruesome as the last one. But Minerva in a wheelchair? I freaked out when I saw that picture. They better not cut out the Career Advice seen or I'll be really angry.
I saw a picure her Minerva stand next to Sybill and talks to Umbridge, so the Great Hall scene will probably be in the movie. I'll try to find the link.
But the "he will not be single-handed" - line is, of course, most important. Hope it's in the film, otherwise I'll be really frustrated. It's such a shipper moment. It was the main reason why I was looking forward to that movie.
