I started my first novel a few months ago, but I had only gotten as far as the prologue and the beginning of the first chapter. But tonight, I have officially picked it up again. Wish me luck, k?
Yes, I will still try and find time to finish my fics, but the updates may not be as fast as they once were. For here are my duties as they stand now...
1) Watch niece number one five days a week... 2) Watch niece number two twice a week 3) Juggle finding a job with family responsibilities (and there are many) 4) Apply for the fall semester of school 5) Work on fanfiction for you patient readers 6) Work on novel so that I may not be stuck in fanfiction forever! 7) Begin school in the fall 8) Find spare time for dealing with my friend's crisis, NOT neglecting my duties as girlfriend, as well as dealing with family drama (This may not sound like an important step, but it is because I need to do this all without my own meltdown... Which brings me to....) 9) DON'T MELT DOWN! 10) Get Starbucks... (Okay, I added this one for fun.... ;D)
Not to mention I have a Vegas trip AND a comic con run to do this month. I am turning 21 on the 15th. WOOT!
Anyway, wish me luck, again... I'll need it. My first book. Imagine it. If it takes off, I'll be sure to mention my MMAD buddies... If I ever get interviewed, that is. LOL! I'll keep you guys posted as I go along.

Best of luck for your novel! I'll be sure to get your book if I spot it in the bookshops. Your fanfics are brilliant and I'm sure your novel would be even better.

Thank you all for the luck. As to your question, tabbyminvera, it is basically about a girl who loses her maternal grandmother and, after the reading of the will, finds out that she was actually adopted when she was just a baby. So she finds out that her mother lives in England (anyone willing to answer a few questions on England, I'd deeply appreciate it) and so she goes there looking for her. Well instead of finding her mother, she finds her real grandmother, who didn't even know she had a granddaughter. And the grandmother is actually an actress. And so, since they can't get ahold of her mother *who's also an actress and doing a film in Asia*, it is the story of the growing relationship between the two. There are also a few interesting and amusing characters along the way,
I know, it's not the most exciting of plotlines, but one of the characters I'm gonna add is a guy who's not quite all there and thinks he's a superhero. He will only make a cameo in this book, but he will eventually, if I get the chance, have his own book. Or at least play a bigger part than he does in this book.
What do you think?

That sounds really sweet. I hope that the girl and her grandmother(her real one) have a wonderful relationship and that she finds her real mom. I would definatly read this.

That sounds like an interesting plotline with lots of potential - best of luck! I know you can do it, and from everything I've read from you on ff.net, you're a brilliant writer and you write captivating stories. I have absolute faith in you - good luck with all of your ~other~ responsibilities - and if I ever saw your work in the bookstore, I would, without hesitation, read it.
