did anyone else see the mamma mia movie? I just want to get your opinions on it. i just saw it a few days ago and cought myself singing along with the music! I thought the movie was great!

It was bloody amazing!! I loved it and am taking the girls I watch to see it tomorrow! and I'll probably end up going again as well. Julie Walters as Rosie was a crowd favorite when I saw it...  |

Just saw it yesterday and want to see it again!!! oh how I love it! This is one of the greatest movies this year I think! And Julie Walters was fantastic and so funny! I couldn't stop laughing. And yes, I also sang along every song althoug I thought I didn't know all of them  |

I went to see it with one o my friends..we were both singing along..and these two wee old ladies turned round and 'shushed' us..it was hillarious.. the movie was ace..and the soundtrack is awsome ..all the cast have awsome voices (L)..but i have to say .. the funnyest thing that i have ever seen was Julie Walters singing"Take a chance on me" that was awsome  |

I really loved that movie and I agree with LittleScottishCub, Julie Walters singing Take A Chance on me was the best scene in the whole movie, especially: "And I think you know, that I can't let go", while hanging from the roof or his legs ;D
But I have to admit that I cried when Meryl Streep sang: The Winner takes it all, because that reminded me so much of my own life.

That movie was fabulous!! Julie Walters was so funny, and she looked wonderful in the platforms shoes, when she was singing "Super Trouper"

The only thing I was a little bit peeved about was that there are three songs in the movie that aren't on the soundtrack! Here's to hoping for a newer version of the soundtrack around Christmas (which, if I guessed right, should be the time the movie comes out...)

I loved it!
I got sick during the end and sort of almost passed out, but seriously, it was so good that I stayed through feeling like hell! It kept me there!

Me too. I got the soundtrack after I saw it with my aunt (yes I made her go to Wal-Mart at 2AM to get me a CD sad) and I started working on a weirdo fic for ADMM with the songs etc. I love Mamma Mia though it's awesome.
I bawled during SOS and The Winner Takes It All. They were so sad.

I went to see it today, finally... I really wanted to see this movie, but as I'm new in London I haven't got anyone to go with, so I decided to go alone. And I'm so happy I did. I loved it, it was absolutely hilarious!! And when I was coming back home I was smiling all the time. Great movie to make you feel better. I want to see it again!! My favorite scenes: Take a chance on me, Dancing queen and Money,money, money... |
