For people you don't know the peerie or peedie sea is in kirkwall in orkney. There is still a agurment about what it is called.
The peedie sea is a lake or loch type thing in Kirkwalll! Hope you enjoy!

The Peerie sea

Flatfish and foam
Darting Ducks
Swimming swans slippery moss
The pier and Picky not far away
That's the peerie sea just by Kirkwall Bay

I used Peerie because that's what it is called on a old map. some of the elderly locals call it that but other call it the Peedie sea.
