Okay, I have no clue if this has already been posted; but I was rereading some parts of CoS yesterday and I noticed something strange in the scene after Justin was Petrified. I'm not quoting from the book (too lazy to type so much ;D) but here's what happens - Minerva takes Harry to Albus' office and she asks Harry to wait outside and goes in. Then, Harry sees Fawkes dying, yada, yada, yada and Dumbledore comes, talks to him, Hagrid come, blah, blah, blah ... Anyone noticed that during this whole scene, McGonagall never came out from wherever she went in? Anyone had any ideas about why ... it might be no big deal, just my overactive imagination ... but ... Another scene, after Mrs. Norris is Pertrified and ... they both are bent over Mrs. Norris, whereas Snape (our darling Dungeon Bat) is ah, "standing in the shadow with a peculiar expression as though trying not to smile" (again, not quoted) ... Perhaps, Greasy Weasy (my nickname for Sev) has seen this scene before .... ;D ... without Mrs. Norris, just Min and Al ... in a um, snogging act, say! Hehe, I always got the idea that Severus knew something was up with the two of them! *plotbunnyattack* Lemme know if you guys have any ideas regarding Min's vanishing act! Cheers!

I suppose I never really thought of it that way. I always thought that she just went back out the way she came to go find Dumbledore. But I definitely like your view on it, what with it's ADMMness!

OOOOOOOOOHHHH...........well i have wondered this too, and what i think happens is that she goes and speaks to Bumblebee and then goes back to their bed ;D and he comforts her and so on and it's all very merry, thats what i think/hope luff Desde EDIT: i'm thinking of the bit after this when Harry has a nightmare, i think ,actually i don't know what i think but i must of sounded really stupid just then *Wondering-upon-the-many-maybe-reasons-Min-might-have-for-going-to-bed-in-the-middle-of-the-day-face*

That was a sweet story, thanks for the link! Now the scene does make more sense. For as much as JKR denies they are a couple she seems to put a lot of hints in there. Perhaps her sub-conscious knows something she doesn't...

So then all we need is for JKR to start listening to her subconscious. ;D
I always wondered about where Minerva went too, unless there's more than one entrance to Albus' office, but I wonder about a multitude of things from the books.

I always wondered about where Minerva went too, unless there's more than one entrance to Albus' office, Hmmm....heads up JK. Even your own writing agrees. She probably went thought their personal quarters or something else. Then she just hung out there until it was "safe" to see Albus without anyone else there.

I agree with tabbyhearts! How can JK fight our pairing if her own books agree with her?
Then again, the books are not perfect (JK is human, unless of course she really is from outer space and is therefore against ADMM) and Jk probably just couldn't have cared less about where Minerva went... sadly that it probably what happened...=(

*shakes head* I have a little graphic I made a while ago when I was planning to do a fic on where Minerva went. Maybe I'll give it another go today. Here's the graphic - door belongs to the Zabbar House -- I guess. Sorry it's kind of big.

I totally concure! It seems too obvious for us ADMM fans to see the pairing, but JKR can't I'll never know! Thanks for posting the FF there could you post more?
Plus I agree with the vanishing part of how Minerva looks for Albus and waits for him to return.
