Octo push is a sport played underwater. You play it with a puck like in ice hockey but the puck in octopush is a lot heavier. You push the puck along the bottom of the pool with a small stick type thing usally made of nylon. You use a snorkel, a mask , Flipper,funny looking hats with ear protectors and a mouth guard. It can be quite dangerous and violent at times but it is fun as well even though you get battered on both sides

It's like Water Polo, just with sticks and further down in the water, right. (Honestly never heard of it before, but going by your summary, that's what I concluded...)
