This is kinda a stupid question but I reciently started a Min/Voldi just out of school era Role Playing site and one of my antiADMM friends is my coadmin and she's completely antiADMM has been since before JKR "outed" Dumbly but anyway anyone else have this problem with people fighting agianst our ship?

If people tell me negative things about something I feel strongly about, i just ignore them and shrug it off. Nobodys opinion can change my mind about things I like or feel strongly for.

I have been fortunate to have friends who aren't too overly critical. I only mention MMAD to fellow HP fans and just say that's my favorite ship. My cousin actually turned out to be a MMAD fan as well and it was a real pleasant surprise. My friend didn't have an opinion either way, but she's come to the conclusion that she likes it better than other Dumbledore ships. My other cousin warmed up to the idea as well. I've only had one friend who replied negatively, but we didn't harp about it and we respected each others' opinions. Other people don't really care.

I keep all aspects of ADMM and fanfic more or less to myself around my friends. It's how I avoid getting my feelings hurt.

My friends constintly make fun of me for believing in ADMM. I then get them back for what they like. I doesn't hurt my feelings and I don't hurt theirs, we just joke around all the time.

I usually have issues - when I mention it. I usually don't but once I ended up in a full-out yelling contest with a friend - and it takes a lot to get me to yell - but I felt she deserved it. She didn't just "bother: our ship - but it also got "personal" on the ADMM side - and about my ADMM views - not just the general pairing.

No one knows I ship ADMM.  But I 'accidently' mention it sometimes to see their reaction, and they say, 'Eww, grooooooooooooosss...' -snorts- |

Yeah "eww gross" is the most usual reaction I get from people. I'm just not worried about it. I tell them that when they are old and wrinkly they'll still need someone to love them and they have no argument for that, LOL.
