No, I don't recall MM ever saying anything regarding her door at all, or anything about a white flag.

I googled the quotes ... it is part of the "White Flag" song by Dido. There were no fanfiction stories that I could find based upon the quote.

It would make a great story though ...maybe when Albus is away from Hogwarts or dead ...not that I accept his death.
I have a similar thing with a quote from a story and its driving me mad that I can't remember which story, and I don't even remember the exact quote, just an essence of it's meaning. It was wonderful though, and I was so disappointed when I found it wasn't in the books.
