Ok, so a friend and I were at Borders yesterday and, well I’ll just make a long story short, we ended up talking about how we never can find a book that is as sweet as fanfiction stories. (She writes Pushing Daisies, not MMAD, sad I know). Anyway I was wondering if anyone has ever read a book that made them feel the same sweet “awwwww” feeling that fluffy or just sweet ff stories do. Well, I don’t know if that even happens to anyone else, but it does with me. I’ve read Jane Austin and Nicholas Sparks books and such, but none of them really make me say “awwww” like ff does. Wow, I’m crap at explaining, but if anyone knows what I’m talking about, some recommendations on good “awwww” books would be nice!

This is actually a really hard question.
Umm... I have to say that 'Bridges of Madison County' was an 'aww' book for me. No, that's not strictly true as it was sad but for the most part.
Also, 'The Butterfly Lion' which is a children's book but I love it to pieces. Again sad but still an 'aww'.
And finally 'The Book Thief' which is horrendously sad but the end is so beautiful that I went 'aww' as I was crying...
Maybe not the most conventional answer but those three are some of mine.

This is kind of hard because I am just starting to get in to those kind of books. One of my favorite authors is Stephen King, he's a horror writer so I usually read those kind of books.
Marley & Me is one of my favorit books of all times. It is a biography about this Family and they get a puppy before they even think about having children, little did they know that this puppy would turn out to be the worlds worst dog. Regardless of how bad Marley was or what he did they always loved him. This book gave me that feeling you were describing.
The Twilight series also gave me that feeling. That's probably just me though. It gave me that feeling because Nothing bad really happend, the main character gets pretty much everything she wants, it pretty much a happily ever after in all four books in the set.

Well, although Nights in Rodanthe was sad, it was very cute. And anything written by Suzanne Brockmann is pretty awwww.

Although they're both really hard to find, Christopher Pike (who writes murder mysteries) and Lurlene McDaniel (who writes hopeful ... I guess ... books about loss) are really great authors. Lurlene McDaniel can still be found but if you want Pike then you'll have to go through loads of used book stories to find him.
