I'm not sure if I already mentioned this but I noticed something, an error that I think proves that JKR looked over completely.
Okay, here goes:
When Harry is left at the Dursley's by Albus, Minerva and Hagrid; the date is Nov. 2nd, 1981. But whole day before, which I believe the book (or Lexicon) confirms it to be a Thursday, Minerva, in her Animagus form, kept watch outside the Dursleys. But, the Lexcion states that according to JKR, Minerva never became Deputy or Gryffindor Head until 1991, the year Harry starts Hogwarts. I understand that she is part of the Order, but surely she can't just take off randomly for a day and not tell anyone (except Albus) where she is going. And if she just wanted answers from Albus, surely she could have gotten them after he dropped Harry off and return to Hogwarts.
The only reason I see is because she wanted to be there when Harry was left at the Dursleys, but could she have also wanted to speak with Albus? Perhaps a few lines that the book doesn't say?
So ... what exactly would an ordinary school teacher be doing out of school in the middle of the week to spy on a former student's sister's house. Any ideas?

I don't see where you are coming from here... I've come across a few articles, wondering why Minerva was at the Dursley's home that night, but I don't think it's ever been explained proficiently by JK herself...
It is odd in itself that she lingered all day, waiting for Albus to appear... Wouldn't you go looking for the man? ;D I've always felt that she was trying to stop him from giving Harry to his relatives, but if she was really trying to do that, I suppose she could have taken Harry herself. (And I've read quite a few fantastic fan-fictions where this does occur...)
But here, I believe, people were celebrating, remember? School was probably dismissed for a few days so people could celebrate, seeing as almost the entire world believed Voldemort to be dead at last. I think it's interesting that Minerva both became Gryffindor Head and Deputy Headmistress all in one fall swoop, and in the same year as Harry Potter began school too! Perhaps this alone alludes to a few conversations we did not hear? ;D I really don't know the circumstances surrounding the reason why Minerva remained at Privet Drive for so very long. I'm afraid this is another mystery that we'll never know...

The Lexicon has to have the dates wrong for when Minerva became Deputy Headmistress and Head of Gryffindor. She was Head of Gryffindor when Harry's parents and the other marauders were students and that would have been in the 1970s. In fact, I think that she was probably head of Gryffindor when Molly and Arthur were students there.
I don't know for sure when she became Deputy Headmistress, but I am almost sure that she was that too when Harry's parents were at Hogwarts.

But where did the above appear in the books? I believe, I'm just curious to see what book it was mentioned in.

I wouldn't be surprise if they're wrong. The timeline still incorrectly states Albus's birthdate.
I don't blame them though. It is a huge website to maintain.
