A/N: That’s the first fic I’ve ever written, so please be kind.
It’s about Minerva missing Albus after his dead.
The song is very sweet and sad from the album “Rockferry” by
Duffy.
I own nothing, the song is by Duffy and of course the
characters belong to JKR.

I’m scared
Minerva sat in her office ‘His office.’ she thought.
Tears ran down her cheeks ‘Why…why him, it’s all my fault.’
She had to do something, something to ease her mind.
The tears still fell from her face, down on a piece of parchment.
Without really noticing it, she took a quill and began to write.
The blank pages of my diary,
That I haven't touched since you left me,
The closed blinds in my home
See no light of day
Dust gathers on my stereo
Cos I can't bare to hear the radio
The piano sits in a shaded space
With a picture of your face
She looked at the written words and was surprised by them.
She had thought of her home in Scotland and how it was when her father had died,
‘And now Albus….’
More tears fell down as she wrote
I'm scared to face another day
Cos the fear in me just won't go away
In an instant, you were gone and I'm scared
Her glace fell on the room and the things around her.
Coffee stains on your favorite book
Remind me of you so I can't take a look
The magazines you left on the floor,
You won't need them anymore
Minerva stood up and wandered through Albus’ and hers private chambers.
Finally she laid on the bed and began to write again.
A towel left hangin on the wall,
No sign of wet foosteps in the hall
There's no smell of your sweet cologne
I'm lying here alone
I'm scared to face another day
Cos the fear in me just won't go away
In an instant, you were gone and now I'm scared
She laid down the quill and rose from the bed.
‘The portrait’ she thought as she made her way back to the office.
As she had hoped he wasn’t asleep, instead the painted Albus looked at her with twinkling eyes . ”Albus, oh Albus, I’m scared…”
“Shush my love, don’t cry. “ he said with a loving smile.
“ But you’re gone, you’re gone Albus, and I feel so lonely.” she whispered.
“Oh tabby, I’m always with you my darling, trust me. I love you, I always have and I always will. Even death can’t keep me from loving you, my dear!”
She gave him a sad but thankful and loving smile as she said “ I love you Albus. Thank you for loving me.” And with that she drifted off to sleep in the chair in front of the portrait of the man that held her heart….. forever.
