Ok, this is my first post here and I need some help since I appear to be going insane.
There is a Dumbledore Minerva scene missing from my DVD of the Goblet of Fire.
During the yule ball, the infamous shot that is the center of our forum header *points up* of MMAD dancing is basically my favorite three seconds in all of the movies so far. Yesterday I watched all five current HP movies in prep for the sixth one with a friend. I squealed and talked about how I was so excited when we got to the yule ball blah blah blah.
We FINALLY got to this scene....and the dancing shot was missing. I have watched the Yule Ball sequence five times, cleaned my DVD, changed DVD players. Am I nuts or what! That scene is in the movie correct? Not in special features (which I checked) Another memorable scene that was just -gone- was the one where Hagrid lowers his hand on Madam Maxine's back and she grabs it and puts it back where it was.
So....in sum. What the heck? Its ALMOST possible that this my first time watching my copy of the fourth movie... I saw it in theaters twice and then probably didnt really watch until me re-read / re-watch for the fifth movie, and when I did that it was at a friends house and on her DVDs.
I have the deluxe widescreen edition....what is going ON.
Can anyone help me figure out why I don't seem to have those scenes. Since if other versions DO - I will need a new copy pronto, since atm I am pissed.
Thanks all!

Not sure why ... maybe it's your DVD? (hate to sound so negative but ...).

Idk that is very strange. I have the 2 disk one and it has those parts in it and also the second disk has a deleted scene type thing and it shows a longer version of the yule ball. The only thing i can think of is that the disk might have a scratch on it or it could be the dvd player.

Well...at least I know I am NOT crazy and those scenes ARE in it...
Do you specifically have the "special" edition or the "deluxe" edition?

I think I can help........... You know where we get a view of the tops of peoples heads as they are dancing on one of the deleted scenes before they introduce the weird sisters? Well it 's that at ground level! Hope that clears things up so no it's not you and no it's not your DVD.

Oops, I haven't been back here in a while...what do you mean by "that at ground level"
So it IS in the deleted scenes? Sorry for being confused/confusing.

Don't worry hun. What I meant at ground level was that, you'd see it, in a way from Flitwick's height, more or less. So yes it is, plus it is a still image as I said in the PM I sent!
