Well, what do you think, friends? Who was the darker of the two Dark Lords? Which wizard committed the most henious acts? Which one truly deserved the title of 'Evil'? Of course, we do not know very much about Gellert Grindelwald, but I think it's pretty much Fanon that he teamed up with Hitler and aided in the Third Reich while pushing his own Anti-Muggle agenda. That alone would be terrible, but then we have the crimes he committed in the Wizarding world...which we also know little about. Still. Now, with Tommy, he basically went out to prove that he was better than the Muggle father who was never there for him and the weak Witch mother who died after he was born. Death, mortality, weakness. He set out to be immortal, all powerful, so that he'd never be weak and afraid of death again. On his path to power, he tortured, murdered and destroyed the lives of Wizards and Muggles alike, creating a reign of terror that pretty much started maybe a decade after Grindelwald got served by Albus (and Minerva. Ya'll know she wouldn't let Albus go off to war on his own ). So: Who was the most evil, in your opinion? Why? And, to soothe my curiosity, you could also deliver up any details I might've missed? Plz? Personally, I vote Grindelwald, since his was a world wide reign of terror, rather than concentrated in the UK...at least...I don't think Tom managed to go global...

I agree that Grindelwald was dangerous because of his world wide terror, making him very evil indeed. HOWEVER, as demonstrated in the 7th book, Grindelwald was able to make friends. He didn't just have "minons" and "followers."
Voldemort, on the other hand, never made any true friends (as far as we know). The fact that he could distance him so greatly from his emotions and feelings as well as make horcruxes in the progress makes me believe that he might be even more evil. I also have a feeling that Voldemort's tortures were worse...in much to horrible ways to say.
I feel that Grindelwald was weaker than Voldemort because he trusted others more easily (in a friendly way). I would say Voldemort is more evil.
(Though, of course, you would have to get into the question of "what is evil exactly?" but I totally am NOT in a debating mood. Maybe later...)

Quite frankly if you want to go by hanious deeds it could be Voldemort.
However; I'd say Gellert is more evil because he had a brain. His quest for dominance and immortality was vastly more thought out. He conned Albus for a short period of time after all!
Voldemort is very like Harry in teh simple fact they may have an idea in their head but you push the right buttons and they snap. Gellert I believe was only like that in the end and still he was honorable to Albus when faced with Riddle.
To me Voldemort was cold and cruel but he had to much arrogance and was killed. He had more arrogance than Albus I'm sure because he did not see his own idiocy.
So it really all deepends but if I was evil I'd rather be a Grindelwald supporter.
But I'm not really that evil to....Long Live Albus and Min!XD
