I had no idea where I should post this, as it's slightly out of genre with anything. It's not much, just some random writing, that came over me. I haven't posted in a long time, have been attacked by a long lasting writers block.. Gah! Anyway, read it, and you will agree, it's rather silly. =)
A Game of Chess
The atmosphere was tense, unbearably with its oppressiveness that weighted down, pressed thoughts to the simplest of forms. Warmth filled the room to the brim with sheer fantasies to be accompanied by a cold that settled in the bones with an urge to drown out any such thoughts in a frosty lake of winter, or hibernation. Humid heat came and went, bringing along intensified emotions with each revisit, promising possible action was the remedy. A finger traced the bridge of a nose, green orbs glowed intensely in the half-lit room. An intake of breath echoed through the parted lips of a beautifully formed mouth, white teeth glistened momentarily as a red tongue wet lower lips, sapphire orbs observing emerald.
“Knight to E5”
The voice rang through the room with a sultry, inviting clang, suggesting possibly scenarios that were hardly associated with the astute art of chess. A shifting of seat, once again nervously tapping a nose, and sliding glasses up was the response followed by a stretched silenced while both occupants observed the chess board, each likewise submerged in own flighty thoughts.
“Rook to D7”
A chagrined smile was thrown across the chess board, blue eyes gleaming with something unknown, hands fiddling with a strand of silver beard. A pale slender hand reached the neck of a long chinned dark bottle-green dress, unbuttoning till a creamy collar bone was shining in the semi dark.
“We should consider engaging in other activities than chess, or I fear it’ll become slightly tedious”
The voice rang melodious from full formed lips and a set of green enticing eyes to travel the little distance to a tilted knowing face, full of amusement that shone with a light alike those of stars.
“Am I wrong in assuming that these other activities already have one or more suitable propositions?”
“Numerous activities come to mind”
“And they involve…”
“You and me, silly”
Another round of smiles and warm looks are sent through the room, flying and giving sparks that almost ignite.
“If you are proposing what I think you’ve implied, then I have one word to say”
“And that is”
“What are we waiting for?”
Following this signal the chess board flies through the room to land unceremoniously on the floor, with pieces messily scattered around. Clothes are torn and ripped apart, sent flying to every corner, followed by moans of pleasurably nature.
And this is where we leave; leave the room and the people to themselves. Privacy is bliss after all. Yet if following this you should ever hear of a session of chess taking place in this aforementioned room, my advisement is, keep clear. Apparently not even chess is what it seems.
