My mum called this morning to let me know my niece went in last night and gave birth early this morning to her second daughter, all we know so far is her name is Elizabeth, and she is 6 pounds 7 oz, and she has dark hair & dark eyes. Mom & Daughter are doing well, (Grampa is pleased as punch)
On the 17th, my nephews wife (brother to my niece who just gave birth today) is going in for a C section to deliver her baby, Right now the baby is breach, so any thoughts & prayers for a safe delivery are appricated. We don't know if its a girl or boy until the baby is delivered. (seems it was a very busy fourth of july weekend last year...)
Thanks all, Taylor

Congrats on becoming a great aunt once again! Glad to hear that both mum and daughter are doing well.
My best wishes to your nephews wife for her c section and safe arrival of baby. I know what its like to have a c section because of complications and I didnt know I was having one so it was a shock to have a section at least you nephew's wife knows in advance and recovery and acceptance of what happens is quicker

sadley, they live too far away for that to be, so unless they come here, I won't see them except in photographs. I hope that they will be coming this summer when the kids can travel. I know my dad in heaven is thrilled with the new arrivals.

Its not as if they live three towns over. to drive there and back is a round trip of over 1500 miles. Flying there isn't an option ether, Mum and I looked into air fair and it would be 760$ per person round trip, plus the car rental. We have a very close family core- and at this time we can't all be togehter. But when we do, we pick up where we left off and go from there. As for the rest of the family, we see eachother several times a week, in different combinations, so its not that were letting the distance from where we live keep us apart.
Her middle name is Grace btw.
We have been informed that my Nephews child will be called ether Aarron, or Erin, they like that name.

Ya, that's aproblem. Mostly ya can't eford to go wherever you want that often. But I guess it's even logical, that families, that can't see each other that often have a even stronger bound. Grace is beautiful! I thing Aaron is cute....Erin does SOMEHOW remind me of Julia Roberts ....Hope everything will go fine with that birth, too... Anyway... Sola

;D
Its another Girl!!! Erin was born about 8 this morning, weighing in over 7 pounds. Erin is the first to carry on the family name, Elizabeth and her sister Theresa will carry on their fathers name. I will have to have *the talk* with her about becoming a hyphenated woman when she decides to marry...
Mother and baby are doing fine!

I digress . . . sola, don't know a heck of a lot my self, but if you find a good copy of a baby name book, it will tell you all sorts of things about different names. Or if you know the culture/language that a name comes from just try the dictionary (Latin is really good for that) cat
