I've noticed some fics have kids of Albus and Minerva. I gave them twins in my story. what do you think they would be like? Serious like Minerva? or mischievous like Albus? How will they deal with their parents being the greatest wizard and witch of their generation?

Certainly a good question ;D ...hm, guess it;s something of both...Throu I can imagine a boy, who is mischievous like his father and beeing kind of more...tryin-to-be-grown-up...around his ma, ...something like the weasleys are around there ma..somehing.  ..maybe a bit more serious... ...Throu surely the boy will have sence for when he should...behave more grown up... can't quite imagin twins...do have to read your story first  ... But a girl...could be just like minerva...but with a big bro... Anyway... Sola |

I always thought they might of a son and a daughter. The son would be the oldest of course. Its either that or they had twins, but gave them up to protect them from danger, or something like that. LL  |

...ya...see the boy as older too,LL... But I realy couldn't imagin them to leave the child somewhere behind or give it to someone for protection...think it would be to OOC... Sure, Albus left Harry behind...but there he knew that he was in direct danger, and he didn't have the time to create a real bond between him and Harry...and to his own children Albus would have a bond, even before they are born...wouldn't he?... And Albus knew that the Dursleys are Harrys last living relatives...so it would be near to leave him there even without the danger...not that I want to make Albus action look nicer...poor Harry...but Albus couldn't know... ...I'm getting of topic, am I?... Anyway...guess Min wouldn't let Albus do that anyway Sola |

Yeah, I kinda picture the son being older, or they just have daughters. . . . I don't know. I mean Min being scottish, i could so picture a dumbledore clan. or the two of them spoiling their only child rotten. there is just so much we don't know about their backgrounds and family life. That's probably why these two are so interesting. There are so many ways we can imagine them being. As to the comment about Albus and Min not giving a child up. if that child was born during a particularly dangerous period, i could see them giving the child up, or to a trusted friend. I read something on fic alley, where Min got pregnant by accident, and she didn't want they child. Albus respected her wishes, and gave the child to deserving parents. It was such a touching scene. unbelievely sad!!  Okay, a little off topic. main point Min and Albus' kids could number as many or as few as needed. As to personality: i think you could get a great variation. One with all their good qualities (is a good student, but is always causing trouble, but too smart to get caught), all their bad qualities (a stern reserved person with bad teeth lol) or combinations of both. I think in general their kids would be intelligent, funny, and either avid sports fans or on the Quidditch team. okay i'm tired and don't know what i'm writing any more . . . oooohhh!! chocolate . . . |In my mind, everyone should either have twins or be a twin. Cause twins rock! but I might be a bit biased cause I'm one....
I can see Minerva taking time off to raise the kittens. With Albus being more of a weekend dad, then once at Hogwarts Min can go back to work.
Of course they would support "aunt" Xiomara (hooch)'s quidditch team and know how to play chess as soon as they stop trying to eat the pieces....

lol...ya...twins rock!...always wanted to be one...Are you able to end the sentences of each other? I hope I'll have twins...someday... Ya...I think to that min'll have the most work....not that albus wouldn't be a good father ...but he's always buissy....but he'd love his kiddies nontheless... And I used to think of the clan thing too. I love the image of a realy powerfull McGonagall Clan...btw...You know what I mean if ya read 'Under Attack' by stoneygem.....I even made a cool Family-Crest... ...ohh my...right now LOTS of bunnys attack me.....must get out...or, wait!...That'll be my lunch! ;D Anyway....Do one of ya plan on writing a nice fluffy fic about that? we really don't do finish each other's sentences /read each other's mind thing that often, but sometimes we do and we can do it with our mom, too. part of being a close family, i guess. can you imagine poppy explain to albus babies shouldn't hard candy until they're a certain age? i can see minerva and albus explaining why/how to deal with the parents being so great. just a thought...minerva doesn't mind bending the rules once in a while, e.g. Harry joining Quiddich as a first year and Hermione's timeturner, why wouldn't she be just as mischievous as her husband? she did know to unscrew the chandelier.... |

ya...I'm sure the kiddies won't have a problem getting sweets from albus... ...The 'unscrew the chandelier'-thing was great!...Ya...I guess min knows how to set prioritys...and in that case...the priority was to get rid of the toad... ...So she wouldn't be like a total rule obsessiv one with her children....throu she would surely set some borders...and the kiddies would sure very soon learn where they can overstep those... ;D Anyway.....min would sure be an interessting mother figure... okay I missed part of this conversation  i agree twins are always fun, i soo wanted to have a twin when i was younger . . . still do *scratches head* but i think you're right Min would definately know how to have fun. If she didn't i don't think that she and Albus would have lasted as long as they seem to. they really give each other balance. They know when to have fun and when to be serious. . . . and i did read "under attack". I think that's why the idea stuck with me of a very powerful McGonagall Clan. she really had that family nailed: big and a set of twins ;D |

Well...ya can reread what ya missed ;D ....But the most important would be: we all agree, they SHOULD have kiddies! Well, know what ya mean....I still do wanna have a twin, too.....Think of all the fun stuff ya can do....like change identitys and such.... ....idealrain, right now, ya have some admirers Well, what I actually wanted to say: I agree that min&albus probably last that long, cuz of that... I mean, min probably only realy opens up with him and be much more fun around him.....so, that'll enlightn Albus' mischiviouse mood....they just are SOOO good for each other....(all in fics of course ) And albus never fooles around, when sth important, that needs all his attention, ocures....he's e.g. never fun around Voldie... Anyway....The Under-Attack-Mcgonagall-Clan-Idea is just so great, nor?....well, I would change some names and charas and setting and occurances....well, actually I wrote sth loooong about that....with kiddies, clan, HP....and stuff.....
