hangover food

Since we are talking about food I have a question for all of our friends across the pond. I am working on a fic and part of the plot has Albus and Minerva going to get food while Albus is suffering from a hangover. (He should know not to try and out drink Alastor
Down here we always tend to eat greasy fried food or hamburgers when hungover. Is that true in England? What would you go get if you were hungover and needed food? And what would you drink? (BTW it is set in the 50's so my guess was rootbeer.)

In London I ate the greasiest fish and chips I've ever encountered while hungover and drank ginger beer(like ginger ale with a kick). That was this summer.
