O.k. guys maybe I just totally missed this in the movie but when I was browsing through the gallery at the Leaky Cauldron web site I came accross this pic under the Prisoner of Azkaban, labeled head of house. I turns out it's a picture of Minerva (I think) with her hair down!? Did I completly miss this part of the movie or is it in deleted scenes or something? Anyway, here's the pic tell me what you think. You can go see the website for yourself at this address, www.hogwarts-gallery.org/hogwartsgallery/picture.php?cat=164&image_id=4194&expand=161,164,161

It was a deleted scene from Prisoner of Azkaban, sadly.

Yes, it should be black...but it's curly and I like it. Too bad that scene was cut.

If you know someone with the DVD or have it yourself, it is on the 2nd disc in the missing scene pieces. From a story perspective, it is the scene right after Sirius tries to stab Ron and Minerva comes to Gryffindor tower to stop them from yelling. It is when she says the line about who could be stupid enough to right the passwords down. Sir Cadagon is really funny as is Minerva's anger at Neville. Maggie Smith delivers the line about "is it always going to be you, Longbottom?" with just the right amount of bite and sympathy. The scene is quite amusing, if a bit short. I have always wondered if they cut it because they didn't film the scene leading up to it, (the actual attack on Ron) or the explanation of Sir Cadagon being the replacement portrait for the Fat Lady. Yes, it is too bad they cut it, but that is my main problem with PoA anyway they didn't take the time to explain some major stuff (like who Lupin was in relation to the Marauders and where did that stuff about Lily helping Lupin come from anyway?)
Alright I digress. Let's hope GoF handles the major and minor plot pieces with more grace. I like Mike Newell's work much better then Curan's any day. And at least from the promo pics we get much more Minerva time in this one, therefore it is automatically better!

I agree, this movie seems to have a lot more of Minerva in it, which in itself makes me happy!
