Yes, I know, the world has stopped or hell has frozen over, because I've updated. Here are the new updates found at loreweaver.org/The Bride Cometh - Ch 9 where Albus meets Adelphia Wishton and the new Minerva makes her debut. To Catch a Lady's Favour - Ch 18 Albus discovers all of Piers' devious plotting at last. If you are a Maggie Smith fan, I've posted some old and rare interviews she's done at loreweaver.org/?q=node/109Please let me know if these kinds of posts are supposed to be put elsewhere. Enjoy! rogueinker P.S. I would transfer stories here or in Infinite Incantetem, but I am revision obsessive so it was better to have my own site. So, loreweaver has the most polished and updated material.

Alesia,
Piers is such an egotist even after "death" that he does get his own chapter. It will be the last chapter of the story (amen!).
I thought Albus and Minerva's story had to come full circle first before Piers fate is revealed. I am so looking forward to writing that last chapter.
Is Piers left in the tomb? Not exactly. Is Piers walking around controlled by Abraxos? Not exactly. Is Piers in prison? Not exactly. Is Piers a new, repented, sympathetic man? Not likely.
I hope the order of the chapters don't throw anyone off. There was a lot to cover. I couldn't "cheat" the potion by having Minerva remember out of the blue or for them to fall for each all over again.

Rogueinker,
I was a little confused when chap 20 started but quickly I figured out what you were doing. I trusted that you would reveal all when it was right. And you did and it was. (I am still really curious about Armando's line "he lost much honor" about Albus ~ that has serious potential).
Thank you for the update! Hopefully there is a bride coming soon. (See I will beg if I have to) ;D a

To Catch a Lady's Favour is done. Chap 22 - Piers fate is revealed at last. Minerva finds out what Albus HAD to do so long ago. loreweaver.org/?q=node/214I've also updated Ch 21 to make the "i remember" part more romantic for example. The chapter is just more substantial. Based on readers reviews the chap was lacking and I agreed with that. 1 WIP down, 3 more to go. Itching to get back to Ghost. Enjoy!

Oh loved the way Piers ended up!!! he he he he. I want to go back and reread thought because I couldn't figure out where the wishes came in. I don't remember Kahil getting wishes. But I will go back and reread. So is Ghost first then Bride and Cocoa? Or are you doing Bride before Ghost? I love them both so I don't care which comes first.

I think Piers got what he deserved for what he did. At least Axbraxos is helpful when he feels like it. Great ending. I look forward to reading the continuations of your other stories. I check your site frequently.

I usually work on one story seriously then when I get blocked I switch to another story of a different style. Hence my feast or famine style of updating and number of ongoing WIPs.
So which one should I use for block relief? I'll work on the one most requested by readers.
a) The Bride Cometh - Suffering Albus & Libidinous Minerva. He learns the, um, joys of bachelorhood while she, er, gets rather more attention than she expected. Pondering if I should make this more lemony. With the format the way it is, it may be interesting.
b) Colossal Cocoa Caper - aka Hogwarts 11, yeah, others find out and want a piece of the action, one way or another. Plant-napping is the least of their worries. Crime rarely pays after all.
Both are outlined. It's making them funny that takes time. Which will it be?

Ok, Cocoa Caper it will be. As a thank you, check out loreweaver.org/?q=node/50I've loaded video clips from Maggie Smith's early movies - Hot Millions, The VIPs and The Honey Pot. You can download them. Maggie was nominated for an Oscar for the VIPs. It is easy to see why. Enjoy! rogueinker

Maggie completely stole every scene from Burton which they were in together, that one where she is asking for the money....pure class, brilliant and after that he refused to work with her again because she showed him up. GO MAGGIE
And I love the Honey Pot....one of my fave maggie films

I read somewhere that Maggie adlibbed the line "Are you really Paul Andros?" and Burton had to play along for the rest of the scene. Burton requested a retake of the scene but the director liked the cut with the adlib best and used it. I think Maggie's and the old duchess' story lines were the best ones in the movie.
It cracks me up to see ads for the Honey Pot where Maggie seems like a bit player when she's in nearly 80% of the scenes.

Hello everyone, I thought I would let everyone know Rogueinker has update 'The Bride Cometh' on her website loreweaver.org/ with chapter 10 & 11. Also if you have a second please drop her a line. She was recently in a pretty bad accident - week in the hospital etc and could use any 'get well' vibes and wishes you might want to send her. Thanks Alesia
