Uh-oh, this is just plain weird. I mean I'm fairly sure that the German and the Danish translators would face a lawsuit if he/she added a sentence that just wasn't there to the original, which leads me to the conclusion that at some point this ps had to be a part of POA. And it's 100% sure that the translators don't get the books beforehand, I've read an interview with the translator from my country.
If it's not in any English edition then JKR must have taken some action herself, probably not being able to decide whether to add the line or not and the publishers (or whoever stays in touch with translators) let the tranlators know. Is there any way to know when you bought the POA-s with the ps in it - Tanja, Pal?

It stared to read the 1st book when the 4th was published...that was 2000...So I guess I baught it in the end os 2000...
