AW! I am sooo excited about this movie, even more so now! And I love Minerva's robes! Question, in the book (4) didn't they say that she was wearing an ugly hat or something like that? Or am I thinking of a different book? Anyway, I'm so glad they chose those robes!

yes, in the book it was an ugly hat, you´re right...
But there´s one thing I definitely miss : the oportunity to let her hair down...they haven´t done it...

I totally agree with you on that one! Minerva with her hair down would be extreamly worth while!

Actually, if you'll allow me to be obsessive, I think it wasn't her hat that was ugly; it was the branch of thistles that she'd arranged neatly around the brim. |

Can I just say, that the pictures I've seen from this movie have me absolutely convinced of an MM/AD relationship? Not that the books didn't convince me, I'm just saying that these pictures are making a lot of shippers happy.

She wore red which is so not her color and a crown of thistles that was suppose to be holly which is so not her in the book. I am glad she wears green in the movie sans thistles and with those gorgeous sleeves. Though watching her eat with those sleeves would certainly be highly entertaining.

Apparently we saw Minerva with her hair down in PoA, although I don't actually remember that! I think there's a pic on infinite-incantatem.net. They still should have done that though, it would have been amazing! Love the ADMM scenes (it's SO obvious) and Minerva's robes are gorgeous!

I don't think Maggie Smith would ever be put in a movie with an ugly gown or thistles. The gown is fab! But didn't Min have black hair? In the movie it's a red/brown/grayish... humm -tabby
