Albus & Minerva Shirts We did it!!! Well, not technically but we are going to be doing it. What the heck are we even talking about….Albus & Minerva shipper shirts. Both of us read the recent shirt thread with great interest. We had thought about it but never given the idea any careful consideration. After a few emails back and forth (and lots of time in between) we decided to make a simple design and have some shirts made for us. After even more consideration, we decided that it would only be fair if we also offered to have them made for all of the other AD/MM fans out there. Here is the design of the shirt (well, an idea anyway) –  And the text up close so you can see what it will look like -  We decided on a purple shirt (for Albus) with green lettering (for Minerva). The lettering has a white outline so that it doesn’t blend into the purple and the font used for SHIPPER is Lumos – a HP font used in the US edition of the books. We are offering two different shirts, a regular t-shirt style (as shown above) and an optional tank top style. The tank top is a much lighter purple (see the link below – this is the actual shirt that will be purchased). It is the violet color if you go to the color chart at the bottom of the page. www.carolinamade.com/cf/display.cfm?catalogcode=815 The costs of the shirts are shown below and the price includes South Carolina sales tax (which is where the shirts will be printed). This is exactly what it will cost us to have them printed. We are not going to mark anything up and we will not be making any money off of this project. T-shirt style - $10.16 (sizes s-xl) and $11.21(size 2xl)
Tank top style - $10.69 (sizes s-xl only)Shipping will be $4.05 (that's Priority Mail for all US Residents) and $7.05 for those shippers outside of the US (that's Air Mail). If you will be purchasing more than one shirt, please contact us for a quote. Payment can be made by money order, cash or using your PayPal account. (PayPal information and a mailing address will be forwarded to you once you have contacted us with your order information.) In order to figure out your total add the price of your shirt (or shirts if you’re ordering more than one) plus the amount in shipping based on whether you are located in the US or abroad. If you are interested, please contact us at hogwarts_duo@yahoo.com or send us a PM by June 23 so that we can get an accurate count and send the totals to the printer. And of course if you have any questions post them below and we will do our best to answer you quickly. Hey Everybody! Somebody PM'd us and asked about the price in different countries vs the US dollar. Here's the currency converter we use and it will convert any currency into another currency. Just add the price of the shirt and the shipping together and then put that number into the equation at the currency converter and that should give you the amount. www.xe.com/ucc/ Also, before we collect any money for the shirts, we want to make sure we have the minimum number of orders (20 shirts). That way, if something happens and we don't get the minimum number we need to place the order, we won't have to worry about trying to get the money back to you. Hope that clarifies things a bit. Well we just received our first piece of artwork from the printers and thought we would share it with everyone here. This is how it will look on the shirt (with the green being darker than currently shown). This was their first attempt and we love it. Oh, pick me! ...Kate has changed her mind, due mostly to the good points given above. ^^ I'd like to switch from a tee to a tank, please. We didn’t sell 20 shirts but Lisa and I are going to buy the rest and if anyone else wants to order one, they can contact us…until supplies run out. Now, the payment options. Hey Everybody!
I just received word from the printer that our shirts should be ready the week of July 10. They are taking next week off because of the July 4th holiday so I should have the shirts in my possession by Friday the 14th...yay!
As soon as I get them, I'll mail them out to everyone who has paid and sent me their mailing information. If you haven't done so, please either email or PM me your mailing info so I can get the address labels ready to go. Also, please try to send your payment as soon as possible. I'd like to have everything in hand when he calls and says the shirts are ready.

FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!!!! I received a call from the printer this afternoon and our shirts ARE READY!!! I pick them up tomorrow (Tuesday) and I should have some of them in the mail on Wednesday to those of you who have paid. I've got the mailing labels and packages all ready to go . I don't suppose you have any 2x large ones left over. My computer was down and at the repair shop during the time you finalized your orders, so I didn't get to put an order in. They really look great. Such a pretty color and the lettering is wonderful.
Oh, I did have to replace my computer. Fortunately they were able to save and transfer all of my documents and pictures. So while I am not happy about having to buy a new computer, I am grateful for small favors. I thought I would lose all of the ADMM stories and artwork that I have archived, and the ones that I wrote, too.

Hey! Lisa and I have been working hard on several new stories plus the interactive one. And don't worry...there will be an update soon. I just need to get on the ball and get my half of it done this time but I promise you, the wait will be worth it. We will update that one next week...I promise! As for the shirts, these are the styles and sizes I have available. It's on a first come, first served basis so when these are gone, that's it. 1 large t-shirt 3 medium tanks 2 medium t-shirts If anyone is still interested in getting one, just let me know. Cheers!
