OMG. Sorry for the double-post, but I feel soooooooooooooooooo fraking stupid. This is what happens when you only read the first page and then post. *is embarrassed* That was mean.  I'm saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.  I'll give her this, though, fantasyofdoom is a good liar. Her story was very consistent. And just unremarkable enough not to draw attention. The saddest part is that if anything like this DOES happen now, nobody will believe it. |

Don't feel stupid. It was very good, and she wrote JKR well (one good point) so that it was believable. We all believed, we all know better now.
The warning is a good idea, no one else has to go through it now.

She really did ruin it for everyone else though. What if someone else really does meet JKR? If that poor person starts a thread, people might accuse that person of lying when they're honestly telling the truth.
Her grandfather's a member of this site too isn't he?
