well I'm not sure if one already exists, but I can't find it, so I'm starting one. Here's a place to post all those fab ADMM songs that pop into your head, and if we birth a few plot bunnies, then we can jsut be very pround mommies(and daddies too I guess)
well anyway, I'll kick it off...this is one of my fav songs, and it seems appropriate for Albus to sing to Min
Artist: The Flaming Lips Song: Do You Realize?
Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face Do You Realize - we're floating in space - Do You Realize - that happiness makes you cry Do You Realize - that everyone you know someday will die
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know You realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Do You Realize - Oh - Oh - Oh Do You Realize - that everyone you know Someday will die -
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know You realize that life goes fast It's hard to make the good things last You realize the sun doesn't go down It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face Do You Realize

I have many, most of which are already fully formed plot bunnies that I won't share as of yet but I Miss You Like Crazy - Natalie Cole. That never got as far as a plotbunny because I had to battle it down, songfics are difficult to write. And I can't seem to find the lyrics correct. I'll get them later.

The first time I heard this song, I went all gooey and weepy, because it reflected perfectly the feeling I had after the sixth book (events I will not spreak of). The song is by katie Melua and comes from the album Piece by piece. "I Cried For You"
You're beautiful so silently It lies beneath a shade of blue It struck me so violently When I looked at you
But others pass, the never pause, To feel that magic in your hand To me you're like a wild rose They never understand why
I cried for you When the sky cried for you And when you went I became a hopeless drifter But this life was not for you Though I learned from you, That beauty need only be a whisper
I'll cross the sea for a different world, With your treasure, a secret for me to hold
In many years they may forget This love of ours or that we met, They may not know how much you meant to me.
I cried for you And the sky cried for you, And when you went I became a hopeless drifter. But this life was not for you, Though I learned from you, That beauty need only be a whisper
Without you now I see, How fragile the world can be And I know you've gone away But in my heart you'll always stay.
I cried for you And the sky cried for you, And when you went I became a hopeless drifter. But this life was not for you, Though I learned from you, That beauty need only be a whisper That beauty need only be a whisper

Dear Bobbie by Yellowcard, off their latest album (Paper Walls). After being really disappointed by their other album Lights and Sounds, I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to it today... Anyway, Dear Bobbie is "a wistful song about the 58-year relationship between Key’s grandparents that features recordings of his 87-year-old grandfather reading a love letter to his wife." It's alternately adorable and heart-breaking. The entire album is actually being streamed for a couple of days, so listen to it at myspace.com/yellowcardLyrics: Do you remember when? How long has it been? 1945, you opened my blue eyes To see a whole new life Do you remember when I told you this that night? That if you're by my side When every day begins I'll fall for you again I made a promise when I told you this that night I'll be fine
(chorus) 'Cause when I die Then I die loving you It's all right I'll be fine When I die Then I die loving you Loving you
Life has led us here Together all these years This house that we have made Holds 20000 days Of memories we've saved Since life has led us here And I'll be fine
Coming home to you Slipping off my shoes Resting in my chair I see you're standing there The silver in your hair I'm coming home to you When I lay tonight When I close my eyes I know the sun will rise Here or the next life As long as you're still mine Then it's all right I'll be fineAnd misshoneychurch88 - I love that song, but surprisingly, I never thought of it in that way!

Mary Chapin Carpenter.....about 3/4 of the songs in her catalog remind me of ADMM in one way or another....whether it be "Passionate Kisses" or "Grow Old Along with Me" or "I Want to Be Your Girlfriend" or some of the more contemplative ones. ONe fits especially well for imagining MM's and AD's thoughts as AD leaves on his several mysterious trips away during OoTP and HBP: "The Leaving Song" Mary Chapin Carpenter from the album _The Calling_ Rounder 2007 - - - - "And you see that you're leaving And you see that you're gone And you see there's no saying goodbye All the trees are in mourning The light is late from the sun Casting shadow on shadow down from the sky
And it's hard not to want to turn around And it's hard not to want to back on down We're only as strong as our hearts within Only as strong
And all you know of where the road goes Is some place far and unknown You would think You would have gotten used to it all by now But each day it just gets harder Every journey alone Never knowing if you'll make it Back home somehow
And it's hard not to want to turn around And it's hard not to want to back on down We're only as brave as we think we are Only as brave
And it's hard not to want to turn it down For some guaranteed, soul-crushing Merry-go-round It would have driven you Straight into the ground Driven you down
And the three greatest gifts of moving on Are forgiveness, hope and the great beyond After that perhaps peace can come Peace will come
And you see that you're leaving... And you see that you're gone..." - - - - -

ok did anybody on here get a chance to see The Pirate Queen when it was on B-way? Well there are a couple of songs from it that reminded me of either ADMM(If I Said I loved You, Finale, and a couple others) or Min(Basically everything that Grace sings) THere's a really good song called Woman that makes me think of Min. The whole thing is loaded up here profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=207206805I can't find the lyrics online, but it's pretty clear
