I wonder what her take on it would be?

I mean I know it's been said that she supposedly always thought that Min loves Albus, but I can't help but wonder if she's ever read ff on it or if she's even ever seen this board. LOL! Tehe. I also remember that bit about her making Min older. It would be nice of her to visit and all, but what exactly do we do about the lemon board? Because didn't a fanfic site get deleted because of lemons, or was that just a rumour?
We have to write to her after DH, because we might not be HGRW or... HPGW or anything, but we are a big following.

Yeah, at least one site was shut down because of "adult content," but I think that site didn't distinguish between the lemons and the "clean" fics. I think that having a password-protected section probably makes this site sort-of-okay.
I think she's concerned about kids reading that stuff -- and she probably doesn't really like it much herself, but trying to stop it altogether would be futile. Better just to go after the more egregious sites, and make examples of them, than to go after fansites that try to respect her wishes (and the law) by at least segregating and password-protecting the explicit stuff.
Personally, if I were an author, I'd be more disturbed by distorted and OOC characterizations of my creations than by them "getting a little nookie"! As long as it was as kid-safe a site as it's possible to have, anyway.
It would be interesting to know what she thinks of ships other than the ones she's always asked about, including ADMM.

If she had a problem with AD/MM, wouldn't she have done something about it for the movies. It's kind of obvious that AD and MM are flirting in the HP movies and acting couply. If it bothered her or wasn't true she would've been like
"Wow, wow, wow. What the hell is Maggie doing? Why is she holding onto his arm or holding his hand under the table? I demand that you redo that scene at once! It is completely unrealistic and gives my fans a completely wrong impression!"

The important thing is Maggie thinks Min is in love with Albus  And thus it is played so, so the moments always turn out good. I worried that JKR wouldn't have stopped them playing their parts coupley because, well, it's not like it's a huge part of the plot either way. It matters to us but it's not going to change the plot, or the general idea of the series. |

JKR seemed to kind of make it a big deal about Professors being married. When someone asked her if some of the professors are married in the interview she said "yes, but they keep it a secret (or something like that, i dont really remember). You'll find out why."
Why would it be big secret or big deal if another professor was married. Who cares if Flitwick and Sprout are married? It's great if you like shipping them, but its not that important since they're not in the books much.
Snape, she's already said doesnt know love and is single.
If AD/MM were married that would be significant. They'd have to keep it a secret for their lives and their careers.

I remember hearing about that, kissofdeath, but I don't remember the part of them keeping it a secret (which they obviously do, at least from Harry, because we don't know about it yet! ). That's one of the biggest things I'm ready to discover in the 7th book- who's married to whom. We ARE supposed to find out more about Dumbledore's family, though. I could sit here all day & list reasons they could/should be together, but we'll find out pretty soon! *crosses fingers* (Again, as long as there not married to someone else! Then I'd have to go into complete denial. hehe) |

Hey, I care if Fil and Mona are married are not! Anyway. I MUST read this interview, does anyone know which one it was? I'm happy, because it is hopeful for Albus and Min, there are few others significant enough to Harry for it to matter so much. We're actually going to find out then?! ;D

I'm trying to be optimistic here and consider that Minerva and Albus being married could affect the plot in a good way and even in Harry's search for the Horcruxes, if JK would just realize it. |

It could affect the plot. Aren't we suppose to find out more about Dumbledore's life in DH? If Minerva and him were a couple she'd definately know about his life. She might even have an idea of what a couple of the horcruxes are since she was in Hogwarts at the same time Voldemort was.

I remember when I was younger (like, eight or nine) I sent her a letter and I got a really nice "Thank you" letter back that gave me some info about OOtP (this was before it came out). So, I don't really know if she would read it or not, though I think if we sent her a huge manilla folder plastered with pictuers of Albus and Minerva together she might get curious |
