I just realized something and was wondering your thoughts about it. It's horrible that I can't even find the picture, but do any of you remember seeing a picture of Minerva in a wheelchair? It seems like I saw in it a thread on this board but I could be mistaken. I ask this seeing as there was no trace of it in the movie, and not even a reference to Minerva being injured by stunners either.
I suppose all we can do is hope that it will appear in the deleted scenes section of the DVD when it comes out, which I for one hope is sooner rather than later...or I promise you all I will go mad!

I remember those pictures as I was rather outraged at them putting her in a wheelchair.It seemed un-Minerva-ish to me.
I haven't seen the film yet and I'm kind of dreading it,because to me that was one of the key scenes.

I guess you'll find it on MUGGLENET in the production/ shooting/ something like that section;)
Thanks god there was no wheelchair scene in the movie. As you put it: It's un-Minerva-ish.
I am really looking foward to the DVD and all those deleted scenes, hoping for more Minerva-Umbridge-Battles.

SPOILERS: if you havn't seen it... run....go away...right now...SHOO!!  Yea I was very unimpressed about how little McGonagall we actually got in this movie! No scenes with her and Harry, deciding his career. No really good Umbridge/MgGonagall scenes. No Stunners. No anything! BOOO! Of course the rest of it was brilliant though! |

But I agree with Scarysecrets. The movie is quite okay. But I hope to see some deleted scenes with McGonagall in it...

No apoligies needed for the spoiler warning....you DID say "question about the new movie" and if people didn't want to know about the new movie they wouldn't have clicked on it!  Ohh some deleted scenes on the DVD would be nice, I have a funny feeling they won't be as big as her getting stunned...or anything like that. But I would settle for a nice (nasty mwahahaha) McGonagall/Umbridge scene! |

I thought that the scene between Umbridge and Minerva on the stairs was supposed to replace the stunner confrontation? Because the one in the movie was a confrontation...(if completely weak compared to the stunners)

Was so lookin forward to the "cough drop" moment haha and they must have edited the wheelchair bit out- so guess look forwrad to either it as deleted scene on dvd or beta another endin to film as extra on dvd  |

The only thing is, to include the wheelchair scenes on the DVD they have to include the stunner scene too. I mean,what would she say to everyone?
"Oh yeah,I got Stunned by Umbridge while everyone was busy looking out of the window.It wasn't a big deal.It just put me in a wheelchair."
That would make no sense!
