This is the first little bit I've come up with, one you've read this story, you'll figure out that I write more dark stories. This is mainly my style as I suck at writing humor; however, I plan to write other stuff too.
Okay, now about the story:
This is taken place during Grindelwald's reign as Dark Lord and he has captured both Minerva and Albus for information about the unavoidable upcoming battle. This story will also extend to the final duel between Grindelwald and Dumbledore as well as the after bit. There will be a little violence but nothing too bad, I'll warn you about the section. Anyways, here's the first part of the story. Hope you like it and please review!
1. Dark Walls
There was coldness, and surrounding them was an airy feeling of darkness. She woke up and blinked a couple of times to let her eyes adjust to the dimly lit room. It was a typical dungeon, cold and damp with stones all around. The last thing she remembered was being at Hogsmead with Albus; thinking of this she wondered where he was until she noticed him laying next to her unconscious. She concluded that they had been captured by Grindelwald's spies, probably for information about the supposed army that Albus had raised, but mainly to end this war with the death of the rebellious leader. Minerva crawled next to Albus; she did not have enough strength yet to stand.
"Albus, wake-up" she whispered.
A moan escaped from his lips as his eyes opened. He rolled over onto his back and sat up.
"Mmm, where are we Minerva" he asked.
"I think we've been captured by Grindelwald, we're probably in a dungeon" she replied.
Upon realizing this, Albus quickly started to think of a plan. Knowing his former friend, he knew there would be a slim chance of escape, the best thing they could do is to keep their mouths shut about everything.
"Dear, I believe you know how serious this is; we can't let Grindelwald to get information about anything" Albus quietly said.
"This means no matter what happens to us, we mustn’t let any information slip" he finished.
Minerva nodded her head but she knew this would end up being dangerous and most likely hazardous.
The large wooden door opened and slammed against the stone wall. Two muscular looking men walked in followed by another tall man who apparently looked to be in charge. The taller man was of muscular build as well, he also looked fairly intelligent and gentlemanly but there was also some sinister aurora that surrounded him.
"Ah, hello Albus, it's been some time now since we've seen each other. How are you" the tall man asked with a smile.
"I've been better, considering what just happened and where I am now" Albus replied calmly.
"I still can't believe you used to be light-hearted and considerate man you used to be Gellert" Albus added with a hint of sorrow in his voice.
"Well, we do live in darker times you know old friend and you must understand what I must do to obtain information about the army you have raised. Tell me, how many wizards and witches have you recruited" asked Grindelwald.
"None as there is no army I have risen. It is just me to stand against you"
"I hardly believe that, because right now there is a young witch here from the auror's department" Grindelwald quickly stated.
Albus stood up with the little strength he had and took a couple of steps closer toward Grindelwald. Quickly, one of the body guards stepped between him and Grindelwald. At this time, Minerva stood up as well and was about to speak when the other body guard grabbed her arm firmly and slapped her across the face before saying
"You may not speak, the Great Dark Lord has not given you permission" he said grumpily.
Albus quickly rushed over to her side and helped her up.
"Always the gentleman eh Albus. I have many memories, oh yes I do" Grindelwald said more to himself than to his prisoners. He
pondered for a moment and then hatred and darkness changed him.
"Take the old fool and bring him upstairs where I can properly talk to him without any interruptions" Grindelwald said.
The two body guards grabbed Albus by the arms and half escorted, half dragged him along. Turning his attention to Minerva, he smoothly said
"He won't be long, I'm sure he'll cooperate sooner than later, you needn't be worried" Grindelwald said with a decisive look upon his face. The door slammed shut.
She was alone.
Alone in the dark.
She began to think about Albus. The first time she saw him, she knew he would be the man for her. The twinkle in his eyes gave a sense of mischief but he spoke, he was sincere and polite; this was almost ten years ago, in her first year at Hogwarts. She had always had a fondness for him and as she ascended through the years, she grew fonder of him. At their previous meeting at Hogsmead, they had caught up. Mainly she had been filling in some her years after graduation. He had known that she had joined the ranks of the aurors at the ministry and he seemed deeply interested about what she had done. It was all over too soon. She had enjoyed exchanging opinions with him. That was yesterday, now she was imprisoned in a dark dungeon.
