Sirius Black grinned at Minerva McGonagall. What a day. He opened the door for her, and along with the old witch in came the daylight from behind her.

‘He’s on his way here actually’ she said.
‘Alright, Come in then’

He backed away to let her in. She brushed a little past him saying.

‘It’s been a while, the house looks absolutely horrid’
Sirius grinned again ’Been taking really good care of it. You know me, you know how much I care for the house of my ancestors’

McGonagall shook her head wearily, adjusting to the dark interior as they walked into the house.

‘The children are staying with you, I take it?’ she said bending to pick up a Victor Krum figure off the floor.

‘Well…He really is sort of handsome, isn’t he?’ McGonagall said serenely.

The Bulgarian seeker was currently doing a summersault landing in the old woman’s hand and showing his muscles for ovations.

Sirius thought it better to take the figure away from her before going on.

‘right, never mind that’ he spoke wearily, chucking Krum into his pocket.

‘Ron Weasley is quite a fan’ He scratched the back of his neck.

‘So’, he said sitting down in front of the woman and rubbing his hands.

‘have you spoken with Dumbledore?’

She brushed a whip of dust from a glass. She sniffed’ Whiskey?’

‘Yea, a long time ago’ He eyed her eagerly. She placed the glass back on the counter

‘I take it you have some more left where that came from?’ his old professor enquired innocently enough.

The man got up shaking his hair away restlessly in a very dog like manner. McGonagall laughed softly and leaned back in her chair bending a leg beneath her.

‘Molly and Arthur coming?
Sirius nodded pouring her some whiskey in a clean glass(yea he’d cleaned it with his thumb and a bit of spit, when she wasn’t looking, actually)
