Hi !
I was watching my favorite animated movie, when it gave me an idea for a fanfiction. Have someone seen Anastasia ?

THIS song, and THIS scene make me wanna write. (I know bad quality, but I couldn't find anywhere the english version with the video, except this one).
Please, someone tell me he saw this movie, because I don't know how to explain my idea...

Well, I tought about a story, where I set my own timeline, because it would be too complicated with the HP one.
So, we are in the childhood of Minerva (who clearly got the role of Anastasia). At this time, there wasn't any ministry of magic, there were queens, and kings (yes, just as muggles...). And, as you guessed, Min is the scottish princess. Albus is a teen who works in her castle (He got the role of Dimitri). That's just before the accident with Ariana. So he's starting having doubts on Grindelwald. A war is starting because some wizards, want a ministry of magic. Gellert help them, becaude he wants the chute of the royals, because it will be easier for him to take over with a little new ministry, instead of powerful families etc.. (He has the role of Raspoutine). Well, then the movie inspire me, but, unlike Anastasia, Min won't go in an orphenage, but at Hogwarts, because she will be raised by a couple, who don't know who she is (Neither does she). Am I making any sense ?
(Sorry for my language, I can't speak english very well, and it's late, so, I REALLY, have to go to bed...)

That's such a cool idea! Really fascinating, because it makes total sense that Wizards would have had a system of royalty at one point, like the muggles, I just never thought of it before. I don't know that Albus would be as effective in the role of Demitri, though, because ever since JKR released the age disparity between Albus and Minerva it's become sort of a stretch for readers to ignore the gap. I usually find that it distracts from the story. Just a suggestion, of course, but Albus might work better for you in the role of Anastasia's tutor. I don't know how much you know about the real story of Anastasia, but this man remained loyal to Royal family to the very end, and was even exiled and executed with them. And, of course, I looooove Grindelwald in the role of Rasputin. Especially interesting because, in reality, Tsarina Alexandra considered him her closest confidant, which was how Rasputin was able to so deftly destroy the monarchy.

Just some things to think about. I'm really excited about this story, though, and I hope you write it! If you need anybody to beta it or proof read it, let me know! I'd be happy to help

Well, truth be told I didn't exactly think that I would write the whole story based on Anastasia. I just thought that it would be an inspiration, for the begining, the idea of the story. Well, put Albus in Min's tutor role is a wonderful idea. But I keep that idea that he'll be the one to save her... And I also keep the idea of them don't remember anything. Then I'll play with families and characters etc.. Our poor little Min won't find out before she's an adult : remember in OOTP, when she said to Umbridge how long she had worked at Hogwarts ? We all agree she didn't start just after graduating... Maybe she was doing something else, like... try to know who is she, while working, what an ironic situation, at the ministry.
Thanks for your help ! I think I'll write it, maybe as tha Nana of this year. But it will take some time before I post it there because I'm writing in French ! So I need time and help to translate it. (And that's why sometimes, names are in French in my messages or fanfic, I'm not paying enough attention... ans that's why I make so much mistakes ! Hope it's not too awful to read...) I really apreciate your message =)
