A/N + Stuff: While reading over Sir Francis Drake's Heir's impassioned plea, I found myself going "yeah," and "yeah!" like some hippie listening to a motivational speaker. Not one of my best moments, let me tell you, and even though my other MMAD fic has a bit of the criteria they were -not- looking for, I liked the idea and sort of ran with it. So, I hope that Sir Francis Drake's Heir neither minds nor feels I made a mockery of their plea. . i is a hippie motivational speaker. lolololoz!OMG, how could you? You wrote what I was looking for! The nerve! *humph* J/K I love this. Especially the "vague, amusing statment." Very Albus. ;D I'm glad that my little speech had such a powerful effect on you. My only question is: If I'm this good at persuauding people to write fic, do you think I have a chance at talking people into giving me their government? Hmmmm...

"And she knows that she does not have the strength to admit how weak he makes her."
One of the best lines, in its multi-faceted succinctness, I've read in a long time. Or possibly ever.

Really great! I love how you've "painted" their relationship and specially your portrayal of Minerva. She really seems strong, but you can see there's something more behind that strict professor and her feeling of being weak because of him...that was really strong! Great job!

I love it, I'm especially fond of dry humour and was very amused by the "chain mail had never really suited him" line, along with others. I love the way you show their relationship as being 3D and real, not like a fairy tale. Great writing!
