[glow=teal,2,300]this is not my best. but i really wanted to try something like this. so here is is... (please review good and bad)[/glow]
Albus was sick of it! JK Rowling just told the world that he was guy! Wasn’t it enough when she said he died. But ever since this lie was released to public his wife, Minerva, barely looked at him. Albus wanted to show her that he loved her and not men. Today when Minerva came downstairs for breakfast he would ask her to go on a walk with him, to tell her.
Without making a sound, Minerva came downstairs, already dressed in her green muggle dress. She sat down and summand a piece of toast and jelly. Minerva never looked at Albus but he decided to talk to talk to her, anyway.
“Minerva, dear, I was wondering if you would a company me for a walk on the beach. I think it would be useless to buy a summer house by the beach for no reason.”
She finally looked at him, there were dark circles around her eyes. “I don’t really want to, Albus.” With that she stood up and walked out of the kitchen.
He was sick of this. She had been like this for two days and if he told her flat out she would probably call him a liar. He needed to get her out of their house and do something romantic to show her how much he loved her. Just then, an idea popped into his head. He went to the living room to see Minerva with her head stuffed in a book. He walked up to her and calmly spoke to her, “Minerva, you didn’t give me time to tell you that Poppy and Alaster have come to visit and want us to meet them at the dock tonight for a trip on a boat they rented.” She had her head looking at him. He could see she was about to protest but Albus stopped her, “ And I already told them yes. They said to wear the best thing you have and to meet them there at nine.”
Minerva looked furious but simply nodded then went back to reading. Albus left the house, without an explanation, to make arrangements for tonight.
Later that night, Albus had a muggle tux on and was waiting for Minerva to come from downstairs. When she finally appeared, she was wearing a red dress with a small slit on the side and showed some cleavage. Albus remembered this outfit, it was the one she worn less than a year ago to their anniversary party. The dress clung to her curves and swayed with every step. Albus held out his arm and she linked it with her arm.
They walked down to the dock, almost twenty minutes from their beach house, and the whole way Minerva didn’t look at Albus or talk to him. Albus decided to not talk but he couldn’t keep his eyes off of Minerva. She looked much better than she did this morning.
Finally when they arrived Minerva looked around before speaking to Albus, “Albus, where is Poppy and Alaster?”
Albus smiled to himself, for how well his plan was working. “Didn’t I tell you? They’re not coming.”
“What!? Then why did we come her?” Her lips were pierced together and she was looking at Albus.
“Because I need to show you something. It is that ship over there.” He lead her onto the big ship and clapped his hands once. Then lights came on, everywhere, and a table set for two, with a red rose in a small vase sat on top of the middle of the table, was right in front of them. Minerva’s hands clapped across her mouth, not revealing the big small she had.
Albus waved his hand and some soft music started from nowhere. Then he pulled out a chair for Minerva. She sat down, still looking around the ship. Albus sat himself down and Minerva looked at him confused.
“Albus, why did you do all this?”
“For you, my dear. I’ve seen the way you reacted to me being gay, which I should add that I am not gay.”
Minerva still looked confused as she spoke. “How could I be so foolish. It just all fit and I couldn’t help but think that you were gay. I’m so sorry Albus.” Now sadness took over as her face expression.
“My love, don’t be sorry.” He stood up and walked over to her. He put his arms around her. “I should have told you strait off that it was a lie, but I thought you wouldn’t believe me.”
“I don’t think I would of believed you.” She looked at him with tears forming in her eyes.
“That is why I bought this boat to-”
“Wait. You bought- this is ours?”
“Yes. Now lets just forget everything and have a dance.” He stood up and held out his arm for Minerva. She nodded and took it.
They held each other, close, while dancing. There was silence between them for only five minutes. “Albus? What is the name? Of our ship?”
“I finally decided on Ship MMAD, do you like it?”
“I don’t get what it, what’s MMAD?”
“It stands for Minerva McGonagall Albus Dumbledore.”
“Then I love it!” She pulled him into a long a passionate kiss.
The End
