I bring you yet another one from a chat with Sensiblyquirky. It begins with an incident from the first book that I'm sure you all remember:
My Man
Albus looked over with a start when he heard Minerva giggle from her seat on his right. Her hat had slipped off to one side and she was blushing, Hagrid was moving away from her as though he had just kissed her on the cheek. The Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was a bit shocked to see that his Deputy Headmistress looked more than a little drunk. He discreetly moved her goblet of wine out of her reach and watched her out of the corner of his eye with amusement as they finished Christmas lunch. When the meal ended and all the students and most of the staff had retired from the Great Hall, Albus stood and offered Minerva his arm. She accepted and they walked together toward his office, a bit slower than usual due to Minerva’s slightly inebriated state.
Once they were on the stone staircase behind the gargoyle, he turned to her, clearing his throat, and asked, “My dear, I couldn’t help but notice that you giggled and blushed when Hagrid kissed you. Is there something you’d like to tell me?”
“Did I?” Minerva asked, completely missing the twinkle in Albus’ eyes that meant he was teasing her.
“Yes, you did. I think you’ve had quite enough wine for one day, perhaps you should go lie down and try to sleep it off.”
Minerva pouted, Albus couldn’t believe it, the stern Transfiguration professor was pouting, “The wine was good, Albus. Besides, you’re not the boss of me, if I want to drink too much wine then I will.”
Chuckling, Albus attempted to sound serious when he said, “Actually, my dear, I am your boss. Technically speaking.”
Minerva looked contemplative for a moment and then said, “Oh yeah” with a giggle as she tripped up the last few stairs to his office.
Albus guided her gently into his office and sat her down in a chair in front of his desk. Conjuring a cup of tea, he said, “Here, drink this and then I do think it best that you lie down for a while.”
“I don’t want to,” Minerva protested.
Seeing that she wasn’t going to drink the tea, Albus set it aside and reached for her hand. All but carrying her, he propelled Minerva into his sitting room and over to the couch, but Minerva refused to take a nap “like some disobedient child” as she put it.
Sighing, Albus made her an offer, “What if I were to lie down with you?”
Minerva smiled and nodded her agreement as she led the way, very unsteadily, into Albus’ bedroom. Once they were both lying down, she rolled onto her side and kissed his cheek before nipping at his earlobe.
Albus pulled his ear out of her reach and said teasingly, “Are you sure you have the right man, Minerva? Perhaps I should go fetch someone else.”
With an air of thoughtfulness, Minerva replied, “Well, there are a few simple ways to make sure I have the right man. My man likes it when I do this.” She blew a warm breath against his ear, her lips only just hovering above the skin. Albus shivered and she continued, “and when I do this.” Minerva kissed his neck seductively and trailed her hand across his chest, causing Albus to moan. With even more determination, she added, “and especially this” as she let her hand slowly travel down his body to brush ever so softy against his growing desire.
“Well what do you know,” Albus said as he rolled Minerva onto her back and pinned her beneath him, “it looks like you do have the right man after all.”
“There was never any doubt as far as I was concerned,” Minerva managed before her husband leaned down to capture her lips in a passionate kiss.
