Slip of the Tongue Summary: A slip of the tongue over a childish muggle game leads to… fluff! I’m being hypocritical by apologising but this is just random fluff, and it’s plot less really. It just came to me. Hopefully someone will appreciate it. Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall were sat upon the floor of his office, tiddlywinks scattered on the floor around them. A light conversation, one could even call it flirting, could be heard between them that was often punctured with his laughter. “You know, Albus, I sometimes worry about you…” “Ah, is that because I have a sense of humour, my dear?” “Honestly, Albus, I do have a sense of humour, it’s just not always so app...” It was at that point that Minerva dissolved into giggles, a ringing laughter that Albus loved to hear and always felt proud to be allowed to hear. “Albus, you look ridiculous!” “You look beautiful,” he replied quietly, staring at her. “You should laugh more, Min.” Her laughter stopped almost instantaneously. She stared at him. Was he serious? It was then when she again noticed the brightly coloured tiddlywinks dotted in his beard. She burst into laughter again. “I knew there was a reason I love even your eccentricity,” she said before realising what she’d just revealed. She blanched and searched his face frantically, trying to make out his emotions. He slowly leaned over to her, his eyes twinkling madly with hope. “And what’s that then?” he whispered in her ear. Suppressing a shudder she replied, “You can always make me laugh with it.” He leaned back, staring at her face, mesmerised. “So, you love the rest of me then?” Blushing furiously she murmured, “Yes.” “That’s good, “he replied, “because now you won’t hex me to oblivion when I do this.” And with that he leaned over and brushed his lips against hers and they shared a long awaited first kiss. |

I'm all for plotless fluff, especially if it's good. This was good. With all the rain we've had today, this brightened my mood. Thanks

Fluff is often what brighten our days and you sure did mine. Very cute. I just wonder how Albus got winks in his beard. Why can I see him putting them there just to see if they will stay??

Hmmmm, my...my...my!!!! Plotless fluff to brighten up my boring evening. Yea!!!!!!! I love fluffy, plotless stories, especially when they end with kissing. I bet Albus was cute with all the tiddlywinks in his beard. I can just see Min giggling at that. I am so glad he brings out the childishness in her.
