So I was watching OotP and I just love everything with McGonagall and Umbridge, so my imagination is going wild so I decided to have fun.
Disclaimer: I wish I owned, but I sadly don’t
Summary: Umbridge gets on Minerva’s bad side, and Albus helps her deal, will this blossom into something more??
“Okay class today we are going to transfigure your animals into quills, so if you would…” Professor Minerva McGonagall was interrupted by someone. With a wave of her wand she opened up the door, there stood Delores Umbridge. She walked into the room, surveying it and taking notes. Harry, Hermione, and Ron looked at their transfiguration teacher, her lips got thinner than they have ever seen. Minerva fixed the best smile she could work up for this so called professor, and talked politely. “What can I do for you Delores?” Delores just smiled, “Nothing, just observing.” She smiled that smile that made Minerva cringe. She had to teach the rest of her class while Umbridge analyzed her. She walked back to her rooms, venting the entire way about that toad. She entered her room and sat on the chair drained. A soft knock came at the door. Not wanting to get up she waved her wand and the door opened to show a handsome blue-eyed wizard staring at her.
"Hello Minerva, how is everything going?” He asked, his blue eyes sparkling with amusement, he knew that is best friend wasn’t in a good mood, but just wanted to have a little fun. Minerva sighed as Albus took his seat across from her. “I hate the ministry, they had to send somebody like Delores here to screw everything up.” She flicked her hair back reminding him of an agitated cat. He smiled at this, but earned a glare from Minerva, “And what, may I ask, is so amusing? You like me like this?” His smile got wider and he took one of her hands in his. “No, you just remind me of your ananimagus form, that is all.” She smiled at him and squeezed his hand. She then got up and moved to the window, “Do you know what she said to me?” He shook his head and looked at her at the window, encouraging her to go on. “I told her I didn’t like the way she disciplines in the class room, and she said ‘to question my actions is to question the ministry and the minister. And it questions your loyalty.’ I was not put into Gryffindor for NOTHING. I just don’t like what she is doing…and….Albus, are you even listening to me?” He looked at her and was mesmerized; the fading sun was hitting her just right and the place, illuminating her face and her hair was falling out of her bun. He shook his head, “Of course my dear, I heard every word, just give her a few days, I as well am getting tired of hearing about all the things she is doing to our staff and students.” She smiled and the dinner bell rang. “Shall we?” he asked, his eyes shining at her, arm extended, “yes, we shall.” She took his arm and went down to the Great Hall.
