Ty Kathy for being my first reviewer! I think it's best to put the background info before the song, but oh well...I decided to do it here.

The year is 1981 and it's November 2. Minerva was confused about her feelings for Albus Dumbledore after meeting him last night at the Dursleys' house to drop off The-Boy-Who-Lived, Harry James Potter. (Don't sue me about the whole missing day, Lexicon says that it's there, so...nobody knows what happened between the nights of 10/31/81 and 11/1/81 to Harry before he was dropped off. Anyway.) She was sitting in her bedroom brushing her hair, when Albus knocked on the door.

"Come in, Albus," she said playfully. "How did you know it was...Merlin, Minerva you look stunning with your hair down!" Minerva blinked.
"Do I really?" Albus smiled. "Of course you do. I know it's hard, it's been hard on both of us, leaving Harry there. I couldn't place him anywhere else; he has no other living relatives that could seal the blood magic.
"But his aunt!"
"Was a Potter before her marriage, and could not seal the blood magic." Minerva stared at Albus.
"That isn't the one I meant. I meant the one you DID leave him with. Lily hated her; that Dursley woman hates everything about magic! He'll be unprotected! Unless..."
"I see, unless I get one of his other aunts to watch him? Even though they were both Potters?" Albus queried.
"Get Arabella, Albus. Arabella Doreen Potter. Well, it's Figg now, and she's a widow too. Besides, she couldn't use magic around him, she's a Squib!"
"She looks too much like James, Petunia will suspect..."
Minerva's voice rose at this last protest.
"THEN GIVE HER AN AGING POTION! ARE YOU A WIZARD OR NOT?!" Albus nodded quietly. It was settled. Arabella Figg would keep an eye on her nephew from afar. Now that this was done...
"Minerva, would you like to go on a broomstick ride?"
"Really, Albus, I don't think..."
"I used to be a Chaser for Puddlemere United, Minerva. I think I can handle a broomstick..."
"Oh, all right, all right, Albus." Albus grinned and Summoned a Nimbus 1000 from the broomshed. He mounted perfectly and settled Minerva behind him. Then they took off, soaring over Hogwarts Castle.

AND WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN, ginger newts??? HUH??? It meant what it said and no more. If you were implying anything else or thought I was implying anything else, you're WRONG! And if I thought you were implying something and you weren't, then I'm sorry, because Tabs has corrupted me, and Minerva wouldn't be pleased.

Ouch, reel it in! I didn't mean to imply that you were implying anything...I'm just one of those people that notices things that could have a double meaning. And I like to corrupt someone from time to time by pointing it out. So yes, I was implying something other than what you wrote. No offense was meant, I thought maybe someone else would find it funny. *shrugs* Anyway, on with the fic if there's more...
