Minerva had not entierly realized that she was now Headmistress, she was still in the shock that he was gone.
I t was not supposed to end like this. She neaver wanted to be Headmistress she had wanted it to go on forever
Like it had been. Almost 40 years she had been in love with him and she told him after she got those blasted
Stunners in the chest last year. And he had loved her too.
She renembered all the letters starting with : My dear Minerva..., all the forget-me –nots...
Albus always acted so young despide his age.
Minerva turned the radio on to try to think of something else. A very high-piched voice sang a childs lullaby and she swiched stations.
Her heart skipped a beat when she heard the first lines.

You make me feel like spring has sprung.
And every time I see you grin,
I'm such a happy individual.
He had always liked when she smiled and said that she should do it more often.

I want to go and play hide-and-seek.

They used to run after each other that one summer they had together
