This was an exellent way to handle the rather delicate situation. The way that you work with their personalities, and all the different aspects of them, is inspiring. Another wonderful update, and I'm looking forward to the next.

Wow! I really liked the way you incorporated the history of Minerva's first marriage into this chapter. Very interesting, and you certainly surprised me! I can't wait to see what else you have in mind.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You're right, unlike most fan fic, real life does not lend it self to happy endings. Death is always hardest on those who are left behind. All we can do is savor every friendship and every love for as long as it is possible.
I hope, as time moves on, you find a reason to take up writing again.
