I agree with you. Even if she said that not everyone is in love,that doesn't mean that there's someone else in her life...she could be single and not in love or he could have been the one to be in love...who knows? However,that was a so imprecise answer that everything is possible...we can still hope,specially in Maggie's portrayal!

Well. she could have made it McGonagall/Snape.
I can't believe she did it, but it could have been worse. Plus, we can still enjoy it. People still believe in Harmony.

Maggie rocks. I wish JKR would get some sense smacked into her. Seriously, I don't care if she is the author of the books, she is totaly blind when it comes to mmad.

I think this is one of those cases where the characters have taken on a life of their own and developed aspects of their personalities that she never intended. Minerva is totally in love w/ him.
Anyway, this opens up a whole new avenue of angsty fanfic for people like me...*evil cackle*

Hi my compatriots !!! I asked to my parents, my sisters, my friends... everybody, what they thinks about Albus and Minerva, and EVERYBOBY thinks they're in love ! ADMM POWER !!!!!  Maybe JKR had a problem with her computer keyboard when she wrote Albus and Minerva doesn't in love ;D |

We can always hope. Our ship might have been shot down and sunk, but a captain always goes down with his ship and I'm going down with this one. I've always believed Minerva and Albus were in love and nothing anyone says is going to change my mind.

The other day I said to my Mum - who, incidental, thinks I have an unhealthy obsession and wishes I wouldn't read any fanfic - " What does JKR know? It's not like she's, says, the author or something!" Naturally this was said with much sarcasm, but the point is, it doesn't matter. Look at the Hermione/Snape ship. They have thousands of fics out there that are so obviously never going to happen, but do they care? Min and Albus are cute together, and they will remain my ship regardless, even if Min is found out to have had a passionate affair with Hagrid. |

Can someone post the URL of the actual interview/chat/discussion? I haven't read it all for myself yet, and I'm the sort of person who needs to see for myself before I can really accept it. Don't give up, people. I'm planning to create a set of graphics with the pun "Our Ship Still Has Sails - JKR Only Stole Our Canon!" Get it? Canon ... cannon .. yeah. (Please don't get in there before me. I've been sitting on this idea for a few days and haven't got very far with it yet, and am very proud of the pun.) EDIT: ... Done one!  |

And I agree with what's been said earlier, at least they're not married to anyone else and there isn''t an aspect of their lives we know nothing about....actually there's plenty we dont know, but not about their love lives. Apparently, they don't have one.
But again, it has made a revelation in the encyclopedia pretty much impossible unless she has a change of heart, which i don't see happening *sigh*....BRING ON THE ANGST!!!!
