Okay, I just watched it and it does look like Minerva has her hand on top of Albus' when Harry's flying toward them, but by the time we get a frontal shot of the two it's gone. Also, Christy swears that he's holding her hand when they're sitting two seconds later right before he stands to stop Harry falling. That was harder to see even with zoom and slow motion, but her hand could quite possibly have been on his arm again near his wrist. It looked sort of like it but it may have been a shadow...bloody billowy sleeves! A bit off topic, but the hair thing that everyone was talking about: I finally got to see this scene and it's not as bad as I feared. *whew* Her hair isn't short, though, it's wrapped over her right shoulder and it's longish and sort of curly, it would probably fall halfway down her back if it was down properly. I think it's cute...also...just what was she doing right before all the yelling started in the tower that meant she had her hair down. Hmmm....

Got the DVD today I'm watching the extra features now! Theyre really good! I watched the quidditch scene like 50 times, it does look like she has her hand on his arm when you see Harry fly past them The deleted scens were great too!

Grr I live in the States, but I can't get my copy until tomorrow because my dad knows someone who bought an extra copy for us for $12 or something.... I would have rather watched it today, when I had tons of free time, but no, we have to wait until the busiest shopping day of the year. *is frustrated* I've read the transcripts for the interviews already, though.

Well, at least you'll get it tomorrow. I gave amazon the address of my parents' place - the point is just that I'm not at home at the moment. But I've already talked my mum into sending the dvd. ;D

Well, I bought the dvd today and I couldn't have been *more* disapointed.
There are no extra's on it. None at all. It's just the movie and some trailers of the previous two films (I have those films, why would I want to watch trailers? )
There are no deleted scenes, no cast interviews, no tours through Hogsmede, no... nothing!
The one small thing that brightens my mood is the fact that Minerva does look adoringly at Albus during the Great Hall scene.
But that's about it...
Where did you guys bought the dvd WITH bonus material?
Love, a very disapointed Griselda

No extras? Did you get the one disc or two disc edition? I didnt even know there was one disc...how disappointing for you. I brought my copy from WHSmith and a couple of my friends got it from www.amazon.co.uk

Right, ignore my previous post. Apparantly there are two different dvd's, one with an one without bonus material.
And of course I bought the wrong one.
I only saw it when I went to return it, so now I have the right copy.
Love, Griselda off to watch the many extra's

i had no idea until Griselda mentioned a one disc edition and that shocked me...why bother making two dvds when most people obviously intend to buy ones with all the special features

Too lazy to sign in again...
That is odd that there would be two versions, I'd think they would lose money on the one disk version because who would want it. Oh well. I'm glad you got the right one eventually, I wanted it mainly for that second disk.
I'm sitting here kicking myself for not buying the 6 disk edition with all 3 movies. I never got around to buying the first two and I just rent them whenever I'm in the mood to watch. That was dumb, but I've told my brother I want the other two for Christmas so we'll see if I get them. For such a smart person as I'm supposed to be I often do things like this that make no sense haha. Sorry, just needed to complain a little...I'm in the mood for an AD/MM movie moment marathon but the closest video store is too far away, I'm not walking 20 blocks and paying $10 for it.

I like poa very much but their is one thing that really bothers me. Why oh why are Michael Gambon finger nails dirty. You can see them very well in the scene when the fat lady is gone. And I love ;D David Thewlis, I laught so hard when my and my sister was wachting the intervieuw that she was looking at me a bit like this:

I saw his fingernails in the cinema and it put me off my lovely malteasers...why are they so dirty? Also his hair and beard were a greyish colour which I didnt like at. People may not agree with me but others might : I thought Micheal Gambon made Albus seem like a doped up hippy reject!!!

Yeah, I agree with that, the look needs much improvement for the next movie. I miss the long white hair and beard and ornate robes. As I always say to Christy, you know Minerva would never let Albus go out in public looking the way he did in that movie. I understand that the director wanted to do his own thing with the film and Gambon didn't want to copy Harris but there are ways to do that without doing a complete 180. The thing with the fingernails was probably the worst, but it's also odd because later they don't seem so gross. I don't get it. Let's hope Mike Newell goes back to the appearance of Albus we all know and love.

Well I saw an interview with Gambob ages ago when he first got the part of Albus and do you know what he said (i dont remember the exact words)
I hope Jo writes a love interest in for Albus, I can see him with a lovely young blonde witch perhaps!!!!

Waaaahhh...is that true? I can't imagine that a lovely young blonde witch is interested in a grey-haired, dirty looking and sometimes crazy acting Dumbledore copy. He hasn't any similarity to "our" Albus here...the adorable, handsome wise man with his silverwhite hair and beard and the brighten blue eyes. By the way...the real Dumbledore is probably a gentleman and wouldn't talk in public about his love life!!! They all didn't read the HP books...wether the director nor the actor (Mr Gambon) *big sigh*. If they had read the books they hadn't made such a nonsens. Delenn Dumbledore
