Hm.. I heard the 5th movie was July 2007 and Book 7 was Nov 2007. No idea for sure, but it can't be soon enough, in my opinion!

November? *groans* You're right, it can't be soon enough. With all this waiting, the movie better be great (and they better include the "He will not be single-handed" part!) and the book should reveal that Albus and Minerva have been secretly married for many years. I'm getting OT now. hehe

November??? Where are you guys getting this from? It certainly isn't on Mugglenet. I was under the impression that the release date was still unknown but speculated to be 07/07/07.
*Feels ignorant*

Hm... good question... where did I read that. Sorry, I just tend to forget where I found which bit of information. *g* But no, definitely wasn't Mugglenet. Hm... amazon, maybe? No idea. Or just somewhere on the net, google alerts or something.

There is no official date for Book 7. When there is, it will be on JKR's website before anywhere else I should imagine (open that door dammit!!!!)
HOWEVER, Bloomsbury co-founder Liz Calder just recently said that she is HOPEFULL that Book 7 will be out in 2007 sometime. So fingers crossed.
It always made sense to me that it would be a 07/07/07 release date cos that would just be cool, but I don't see that happening now, what with OoTP movie being released around that time. We'll just have to be patient I guess!

I don't think it's a good enough reason either. I'm still pulling for the idea that it was a set-up and Dumbledore's not actually dead.

I'm holding out for some albus action in the next book via a nice long conversation with his portrait...
Like admitting he and Minerva were married. Yes, I like that idea.

Yeah, I'm thinking that if he's really dead there will be somewhere that confirms that they were actually married or in love. I guess that's all the hope we have if he is really gone.

I'm hoping that the phoenix symbolism will come into play and he's not really dead... But the cynical part of me says he'll stay dead, but prays that Snape killed him on his orders - I don't want to think of DD being wrong about him, and putting his trust in the wrong person... It was the WAY he died that upset me as much as the death itself. I could have handled him going down in some sort of huge battle scene against Voldy and death eaters, but not blasted off the top of his own school by a guy he thought was a friend... So I'm REALLY hoping Snape was actually being loyal...

I just don't know about Snape anymore. Half of me wants to think he's still on Dumbledore's side, but the other half believes he's been lying all this time. Even Minerva said in the 6th book that Dumbledore has always seemed to have a reason for trusting Snape. I'm assuming that we'll find out in the 7th book what that reason is and if it's reliable.

Haha, I haven't done that to my friends yet, but I have with family. I get yelled at for it too. My favorite part to freeze is, of course, Min and Albus at the Yule Ball in the Goblet of Fire movie. I also watch MMAD scenes over and over to prove my point. ;D It's paid off though, because one of my sisters is a MMAD fan (she's 11 or I would tell her to join the board).

Btw, was the part about Dumbledore and McGonagall dancing together even in the book? I haven't read the book in years, but I picked up my sister's book last night after thinking about it (she's currently reading it), and all it said about them dancing was that Dumbledore was dancing with Professor Sprout and McGonagall was dancing with Ludo Bagman. Hmm... It's funny, because Dumbledore and McGonagall were even shown as one of the "Yule Ball Couples" on the Harry Potter screensaver.

It doesn't have that part in the book. Go Warner Bros for putting it in. (It is Warner Bros, right?)
Maybe in the 7th book Albus will do what Xavier did in XMEN3?
