Erm I always make it Minerva Catriona McGongall. It's the gaelic form of 'Catherine' - I find it fits fairly well and use it often in my fics as her middle name or daughter's name. I don't recall seeing Minerva M Mcgonagall anywhere though...then again I don't adore the movies and have probably missed that bit. lol

I think I've been convinced that Grace is McGonagall's name. It does suit her, but I was hoping for a longer middle name, possibly something that sounded really beautiful and had at least 3 syllables.

Wasn't there a thing a while ago where people were saying that M.G.Mcgonagall couldn't be Minerva, because the dates were wrong??

I always seem to decide something with more than one name (like Dumbledore). Such as Minerva Athena Kathrine Rose McGonagall - Dumbledore, which is her full name for a fic I'm working on.
